Yesterday, I went to Baja’s very excited to have lunch with my son, we ordered 3 steak tacos and a steak quesadilla, the food was delicious, the place is nice, unfortunately the manager (I know he is the manager because I asked what his position was) of the place is an uneducated man, I asked him several questions and he just laughed, I don’t know if he didn’t understand me or if I made him laugh, the young cashier was very attentive and started talking to us and he was very kind, he helped me serve my food, the manager threw the quesadilla on the board which was very disrespectful, I even asked the man if he was having a bad day and he just turned to look at the taco shells, the young man just turned around and said something to him in Spanish, the young man with teary eyes continued serving us and really despite the bad time he had he never stopped being kind and professional, it is unfortunate to see this type of scenario since nobody deserves bad treatment when they are doing a good job and the young man at the register is the one who interacts with us, very unpleasant moment, I feel sorry for the young cashier.

At this restaurant, upon entering, the cashier and the server exchanged glances and laughed. It seemed like I made them laugh. It was very rude. Then, my son dropped his food right there, and they didn't even offer me another plate; they acted like nothing had happened. Where were they supposed to offer me another plate if my son dropped it! They have no professionalism in customer service. The manager should tell him about that! Thank you! Terrible service!

I miss Moe's, but Baja's is a decent replacement. Certainly better than Chipotle.
Try the pickled onions!

I love Baja’s the food is amazing! The atmosphere is loving and comfortable. The staff are always friendly and welcoming! I would recommend 10/10! I would love to see them more in the CT area. Preferably Bristol, CT or Southington, CT!
Caring customer service that makes you wish to return to this location over and over again. All the Baja's are great, but this one is certainly near the best of the best.

Restaurantji Recommends
Since moving to Rhode Island, I've found it increasingly hard to get a lot of quality food for cheap. Baja's has been a gem in the mud for me, and of the ones I've tried this location is a clear best. They have wider options for entrees than you'd expect from a fast-casual burrito chain. From wings, to cheese steak, and more. Of course, the Mexican American cuisine is where they really shine. They have more novelty options than you'd find elsewhere like taco bowls, wet burritos, and chimichangas.
I recommend the super loaded burrito. For $14 you get to choose three protein options and the outcome is a burrito that can weigh more than 2 pounds (I've actually weighed). In this area, getting 2 pounds of food for only $14 is wild, and it's yummy at that. Their carnitas are to die for, and their other protein options are not far behind. They have multiple chicken options for those who don't have red meat, including buffalo, chipotle, or classic. They also have more unique options for fillings. Two types of queso, pickled red onion, jalapenos, habanero hot sauce, etc.
If nothing else, it's worth a try.

Just tried the supreme burrito, 1st time having their food and definitely wasn't impressed at all. Their food lacks flavor, burrito was just thrown together and packed with way too much rice.
