Waited so long for the waitress to take our order we left. Never even ordered drinks. FYI there was only 1 other person there.

Place is super tasty and undersold. I was gonna be quick to judge by its look but don’t be fooled. Great food and great prices

I am a regular customer. The quality of the dishes is stable, especially the desserts. Although there are not many varieties, they are sweet but not greasy.

I drove ten miles to this restaurant and tasted a red oil dumpling and their Chongqing spicy chicken. It was worth it! This is the first time I tasted such an authentic taste of my hometown in Chongqing👅

Chong Qing is the most authentic Chinese food that I've found around this area. It is truly amazing food! I highly recommend this place is you love authentic Chinese flavor profiles.

Meh food. Basic cheap, bland, greasy Chinese food.
Fried rice is skimpy on ingredients, but at least the rice itself isn’t too greasy. Bland, no discernible spices. Shredded pork is greasy, also bland. Soups are mostly liquid, few ingredients.
Overall, no reason to throw it out, but also no reason to go back.

Chong Qing's atmosphere reminds me of those old school, hole-in-the-wall, what you see in the movies type.
The service was impeccable. Everything came out so fast and we ordered many dishes!
The food was A+++++. A definite gem here in Providence. I'm only sad that it took me this long to know that this place existed.
11/10 would come back. I wanted to come back thr literal next day, but did a lot of big backing already.

My partner and I tried this spot over the summer, and we’ve been coming back every few weeks since. We’ve never had a disappointing meal! My favorite dishes are the Chong Qing chicken, cold noodles in sesame sauce, beef noodle soup, cucumber in chili sauce, and pork dumplings in chili sauce. My partner loves their cumin hand pulled noodles with chicken and their cumin chicken. The food is always bursting with flavor and spice! If you’re in the area, I highly recommend giving this place a try. There’s street parking available, but since this area isn’t as busy as downtown Providence, finding a spot shouldn’t be an issue.

DON’T GO if you don’t want to wait for an hour to get your first order!!!!!! The service is so bad. I went on Thursday night at 7:07pm, and waited for one hour to get my first plate. Even for an hours, I didn't get all my orders on the table. People who came after me got their food first. The owner told me, the meal will come by order, but I know who was behind me. I was looking at her for an hour.
Don't come to this place because you need to wait for an hour to get your food. And they will bring to food to someone first even they ordered after you. They don't have enough money to hire people to work.
