Let's be warned, it is a typical mom and pop atmosphere. No exhuberent decor and pretentious interior design. BUT EXCELLENT AUTHENTIC FOOD.Based on my experience and traditional cooking, their foods never disappointed. The prices are very reasonable in this economy. There are some strong cumin flavored and spicier dishes, are personal preferences. IMHO, they are well executed, for example the cumin spicy pork ribs. It reminded me of a well grilled lamb from the autonomous Xinjiang area but with pork.In all, no restaurant is perfect to suit everyone's palate. For those who enjoys highly authentic food and with bravery appetite, this could be your next new outlet.

Best Chinese food I've had around here. Got the hand pulled cumin noodles. Flavor and spice level were both perfect. Definitely going to dine in next chance I get.

Wow, what a depressing dining room. Dark and none too clean (slipped on old food under our table). Booth seats were so far from table you could not sit back. Food we ordered was ok but not notable. Spring rolls meh, too much oil in a couple of dishes. Rice was an extra charge. Pass.

My first order with Chong Qing House. Foods are flavorful . The amount of spiciness and heat were just right. It was just perfect for me. My favorite was Long green peppers with pork! Good job, keep it up!

I went with a friend for the first time yesterday. The place is smaller but it is nice inside and good atmosphere. The food was definitely very authentic and was fantastic !We ordered the soup dumplings which had the best pork and broth in a soup dumpling i've ever had. We also had the wontons in chili sauce and the beef and tripe in chili sauce. Both were excellent and the wrappers on the wontons had to have been freshly made they were so good. The cumin hand pulled noodles with beef were also outstanding. The cumin adds such a great flavor to the freshly made hand pulled noodles. The beef in it was also very tender and flavorful. The last item were ordered was the braised beef. It was delicious and a sight to behold. As far as service while were there, it was certainly adequate but not great. There was only a server / host there and we had to wait a little bit or get her attention more than once. It would have been nice if she came over during our meal to ask how everything is besides just dropping off dishes. She seemed nice though and definitely was not rude at all.Overall our experience there was very good and we will definitely be back.

The worst service I've ever experienced at a restaurant, bar none. The waitress was rude and belligerent and just dumped the food on the table and walked away. My friend's order was not brought out to him and he waited and waited for it. She ignored our attempts to talk to her, very rudely. Finally he had to get up and ask for it. She never wrote it down to begin with. We asked for seperate checks and were brought out one check. Again a wait to get seperate checks, with a surly waitress. As i was leaving the waitress confronted me about leaving a tip and forced a pen in my hand! We were shocked , that is how bad it was. My advice is to stay far away from this place.

The worst service I've ever experienced. The waitress was rude and belligerent and dumped the food on the table and walked away. My friends order was not written down so he waited and waited then went up to the counter. There was no apology and the waitress was visibly irritated. We asked for seperate checks and the waitress brought out one large check. When we again asked for seperate checks there was a long wait. As we were leaving the waitress confronted me about a tip and demanded a tip, handing me a pen. We were shocked, but this is how bad the place is. The manager/owner does not care about service. Stay away.

Really good. I got the Sichuan pepper chicken and was so impressed, I've never had authentic Sichuan food before. Completely unique spice profile than I'm used to, spicy, very tasty. Also, two quart containers of food (plus rice) for twenty bucks. No complaints.

Authentic delicious food. I've come here a couple of times and love it. It's a place where it's best to order for the table and share the each dish. Try different foods here and experiment as well. Definitely recommend this place.
