The perfect fried chicken amount with one of the most unique taste. A bit pricey but the quality is worth it. And the pieces are much bigger than what I thought they would be. Overall if you like fried chicken this is the place.

After riding bikes over the Henderson Bridge from Providence, we stopped in for lunch. There wasn’t a bike rack, but there was a long fence next to the parking lot that made locking up the bikes easy.

We each ordered the blue plate, which looking around the restaurant, seems to be a popular choice among diners. The server allowed us to substitute tenders in place of the fried thigh and drumstick for the blue plate. I ordered my tenders with the honey Cholula flavor and blue cheese sauce. My partner ordered the Nashville hot flavor with truffle mayo. Both were great, but I’d recommend ordering the Nashville hot or Spicy flavors with blue cheese in retrospect.

For sides, we tried the collard greens, cheesy cheddar grits, corn bread with honey butter, and pulled pork baked beans. All were very good. The cornbread was a good choice because it can serve as a dessert at the end of the meal. The grits and baked beans were both excellent as spreads in the Texas toast that comes with the blue plate. If you order the collard greens, note that it has a pretty intense (almost smoky) flavor and lots of bacon, so be sure that you like both. The creamed corn sweet potato tater tots were popular choices among other customers while we were there.

This is the perfect restaurant if you’re in the mood for fried chicken and Southern food. Bring your appetite because the food is filling; I was glad to hop back on our bikes and do some more exercise after lunch!

This place makes top notch food and the service is very helpful. Got the cornbread (amazing), onion rings (really good), and the chicken sandwich (BIG sandwich, tasted great). Need to go back for drinks at the bar next time. I did to-go and they were pretty fast

Chicken is very good but was not particularly blown away by any of the sides which was a bit disappointing. Still a cool spot and will be back next time I have a hankering for fried chicken

A girlfriend and I tried Honeybird when it had opened. Small but beautifully modern. We tried the fried green tomatoes, the pierogis and the hot chicken boa buns. All were very tasty, juicy and flavorful. We sat at the bar and had adequate services, they weren't neglectful nor overbearing just not as personable as I'm used to while sitting at a bar. Overall we enjoyed our time there.

Since then I have been back twice and it has been consistent and delicious.

$10 for a 2 piece tender meal, or your bulk purchase option is $4/wing for $24 for a 6 piece.
I thought it was under-seasoned. It’s barely better than Popeyes but triple the price.

Their bao buns were great. I wonder if the other items were as creative and good as that. I certainly wouldn’t ever go here for wings or tenders again at those prices. But I’d come back for the bao. It’s the only item I had where the James Beard nomination made any sense. The rest seemed like unwarranted hype

First time here for Lord of the wings. I didn't like the rub but the wings were cooked perfectly.

The portions are small for the high price. The food is quite delicious, but I don’t see myself returning often due to the cost. $12 for just a sandwich, extra for cheese and veggies and then an additional $5 for fries seems a bit much. The service was fine, no issues there. However, the restaurant felt cramped—I felt like I was dining with the group next to us. Definitely room for improvement.

The music is the first thing you notice it’s really good. The rappers they had playing adds to the atmosphere. The chicken was succulent, I got it spicy, the blue cheese sauce I didn’t like much but I didn’t apply it. The corn bread was delicious and the lemonade although a bit sour quenched my thirst.

I got the blue plate with the corn bread fries, blue cheese and spicy:

Parking: Parking lot around the corner

Wheelchair accessibility: It’s on the ground floor so you can roll it in

A solid 4-star experience. Ordered a Blue Plate for $19, consisting of a thigh, drum, texas toast, and a side of mashed potatoes and gravy and corn bread. I got the Nashville Hot hoping for some spice, and despite it being tasty was not a memorable heat. Cornbread was devastatingly yummy and the most memorable part of the meal.
