Jayas Kitchen is a good spot for authentic Indian food, we visited the restaurant after getting a recommendation from a friend and drove 25 miles to have the experience.
The Goat Sukkha, Goat Tikka Masala, and Biryani were all incredibly flavorful and cooked to perfection. The spices were well-balanced, and the portions were generous.
Unfortunately, our experience was a bit mixed. While the food was fantastic, the hospitality left something to be desired.
We felt a bit rushed and overlooked during our visit, especially for getting the booth for sitting after waiting for 20+ minutes.
The lady offered the booth to a different family who came in much later than us. Surprisingly she did NOT apologize for that

This place makes me want to move to Connecticut! I was recently visiting a friend and he took us here for lunch. The food was incredible and the service was so attentive. The spice levels were perfect and my only regret is not getting more to take home with me. I'll definitely be requesting we come back here the next time I'm up to visit. If you're in the area and looking for delicious food, this is the place to go!

Our lunch Sunday was great! We enjoyed Gobi Manchurian, Bindi Masala, Navaratan Korma and Gobi Paratha, all delicious. The service was wonderful and the atmosphere was very nice, plenty of vegetarian options, which is what we were looking for, and many nice meat options if you are so inclined including goat, yum! My wife and I will certainly frequent Jaya's for both dining in and carry out.
Vegetarian options: See above, all our dishes were vegetarian.
Dietary restrictions: A good number of GF options.

This is the first time ever I had typical South Indian food in the US. The food was delicious, our whole family enjoyed. It’s worth 40 mins drive from my home.

Restaurantji Recommends
Vegetarian options: We tried Jaya’s kitchen today for an early dinner and both of us being vegetarian. We tried veg biryani and kothu parota. The food was horrible. They had stale veggies in vegetable biryani and veg parrots had no spice or salt. This place is no good for vegetarian and this was my second visit and my first time also the food was not on par with other Indian restaurants in the surrounding. I do not recommend this place to any one who wants to try vegetarian.
