I don't think that I've ever left a review at any restaurant I've ever been to but when I tell you as soon as I took a bite out of their food my face lit up. this was possibly the greatest steak sandwich I've ever had and the fries were perfect. there's really nothing else to say besides the fact that the staff was the best and kept checking if we needed anything, the food and drinks came out fast too. I would come here all the time if I didn't live so far away.
The food was very salty, and sardines looks like weren't cleaned before grilling.
The best food ❤️
I am not super familiar with Portuguese food but after going here I can say this is one of the best restaurants in RI. Since the first time I went about 2 months ago, I've been back 4 times and everything I've had was just incredible. Homemade style dishes made 100% with love
O Dinis – An Unforgettable Dining Experience
In May 2024, a large group of friends gathered for the first time since the pandemic, and while we had an amazing weekend exploring Rhode Island, the absolute highlight was our dinner at O Dinis.
From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel like family. Our waitress was incredible—handling our large group with ease and enthusiasm. Most of us had never tried Portuguese cuisine before, so we entrusted her with our meal choices, and she did not disappoint. Every dish was phenomenal, and the wine selection was just as impressive. They brought out different bottles and multiple glasses so we could sample a variety, making the experience even more special.
My wife and I are big foodies—we’ve dined at James Beard Award-winning and Michelin-starred restaurants—but this was hands-down our favorite group dining experience. If we didn’t live in Texas, we would absolutely be regulars. We’re incredibly excited to return this June when our group gets back together again. O Dinis is a must-visit!
Food & service is always great
Awesome food,the staff was amazing
I really liked this place . Got a grilled squid special which was good . My wife got the portugese steak . Had a brownish gravy , it was good , but I prefer a pan sauce . My wife gave it a thumbs up . Service was great . It's a smallish place and we enjoyed talking and the feem of the spot .

The pork was flavorful tender and juicy. 5 gigantic shrimp sautéed to perfection. The fries were par excellence. The vegetable medley included green beans broccoli carrots pinions onions and peepers. Expresso was strong but tasty and chocolate mousse wonderfully light to top off a great meal. All the serving staff were outstanding. It is one of our favors.

The food was superb but all in all probably the best service I've ever received at a restaurant. My glass was never dry, and the bread bowl continued to come.... I can't say enough good stuff about this modern eclectic restaurant.....

Delicious. The small place is usually holding a good, worthwhile wait. Well prepared, genuine, Portuguese meals served with love. The bitoque has the best sauce. Salty and flavorful! I love it.

When we have visitors from out of town or new to town folks who need to know we bring them/ we come to O'Dinis for the family, food, atmosphere. Prices are fair feels like Europe, and no matter how busy you are never rushed.
I enjoy Mondays for an early dinner to get some headspace and organize and settle into the week.
