As an East Providence townie currently living at the East End of Prov who found out they were adopted & half French, my experiences at 133 Club have been the opposite of at The Local & Fieldhouse Pub, consistently. Confusing. James mocked me for my tobacco pipes & teddy bear, as if I'd mind a woman who likes the same things & the manager told me they owned the business next door, implying I was some kind of criminal; No Trespass served just for changing bags...
This is a nice neighborhood place to stop in for a bite / beverage. The food is good, as is the atmosphere. We came in before heading to the Comedy Connection up the street and had an order of sliders and some "pickys." If you're in the area, stop in. I think you'll enjoy it.
This place is the place to go if you want to hear good local bands, especially on Sunday night when they have somewhat of a Bluey jazz group. Food is bar food, but the fact that you can listen to music and dance and also play pool is a plus. Patrick the Bartender is very friendly and doesn’t seem to rush you!! definitely a local spot
