This was a second time since the new management took over. The menu is much smaller than before but you are sure to find something you will like. We ate in the dinning room that hasn’t changed at all. It kept its quaint appeal. We ordered seafood and prime rib. All the food was cooked well and seasoned perfectly to our taste. Our server was very attentive. Overall experience the food was great staff was young and friendly!
VERY DISAPPOINTED!! Tavern on Main has been our go to for years and we always loved it. Today's visit changed that for good. Most definitely will not be going back. This was our first time there since the change of mgmt. and couldn't have been more disappointed. I ordered the fried haddock and was unable to eat most of it due to it being FULL of bones! I have never once had a bad meal here. The regular menu, the specials, everything is phenomenol, my favorite is the pecan chicken or steak tips. Besides the excellent food, the staff is great; friendly and accomadating. I love that the historic aspects have remained and adds to the overall appeal. Whether coming here for date night, a family meal, or with friends, this is always on top of our list.
