Beech does seafood really well. The blacked swordfish was moist and tender inside the accompaniments were very good and generous. The Halibut was great over bok choy and jasmine rice along with roasted mushrooms. The server was very knowledgeable and checked with us often at each stage of the meal. They Do do some great cocktails It lived up to all our friends recommendations
While normally a really nice place, the service was sub par as we sat for 10 minutes before anyone even acknowledged that we were there. Once we ordered the food and drinks arrived quickly which was appreciated. The sticky rib appetizer was good but not spectacular. The salmon dinner was also nothing special. It was as if they just poured bbq sauce on the salmon. The couscous was under seasoned and over cooked. Think we'll take a break for now as there are better choices...
The food was good (I liked the grilled shrimp better than my wife liked the chicken piccata- a bit tough). The service was excellent, but the noise level was so high, we had trouble hearing each other.
