Miss this restaurant very much! Food was delicious.
Overpriced 4 what I had and it wasn't the traditional dish they made their own up and it sucked the shrimp still had the tails on them you would think for the money they pull the tails off
Food was excellent. Fish was fresh and the steak and cheese egg roll apps were delicious!
Love everything about this place - food - employees- atmosphere... Thank You For doing and being You... drive there from Bristol, CT to Jamestown, RI - we call it Charlie's for lunch and in car we go...been going for 20+ years.
Service was incredibly slow. Our meals came before our water. The food was underseasoned and expensive for what you get compared to other local restaurants. Kids meals are $10 and were better tasting than ours. $22 for underseasoned cod and tough calamari.
Food was excellent. Fish was fresh and the steak and cheese egg roll apps were delicious!
Clam bellies, not found in too many places are here and excellent, same with fried oysters. Lobster roll was great, lots of lobster
AMAZING. I went here for years and the food was always hit or miss but the food is absolutely fantastic now and the portions are insane. The inside has been completely redone and looks so much better, I was apprehensive about this new Islandish place because i was used to Chopmist Charlie’s but this place is incredible now. The owner is even friendlier and so hilarious. I hope everyone has the pleasure of meeting Sarah, the beautiful blonde from New York. She is a GEM my family adores her. Pleaseeee go to this new Chopmist Charlie’s/Islandish they are severely underrated. You have to try the key lime pie as well!!! it is to die for.
Just go! Excellent food & service. The pizza is a slice of heaven.
The lobster roll was a hearty 6oz and for the 32 price was a great value. Taste was on point too. Will be back.

Great restaurant and great food. They went out of their way to accommodate our party of 13 for lunch. We had the scrod fish sandwich, calamari, clam chowder, fish and chips, and a Caesar salad. Everything we had was fresh and tasty. Highly recommend! Service was also great, owner was friendly and very welcoming.
This place has stepped up their game and reinvented themselves during Covid, no easy task. They've only been reopened for 3 weeks and every dish was on point. Highly recommend the lobster roll and the fresh local scrod sandwich. One of our party had it fried, the other broiled and both were delicious. We had been going to Charlie's for years and the food has only improved with the new format. We're so happy to have Charlie's back. All that was missing was the lobster bisque but it may be coming soon!
Not good at all
4 of went last weekend the food was excellent and the service was top notch. Highly recommend to try it.
Clam fritters are not that common, (also known locally as clam cakes) in many restaurants around these days. Chop must Charlie’s happens to make the best around, and when combined with their New England clam chowder…… Now there’s a meal that can’t be beat!
