Situated across the street from the Jamestown Marina, this small café has big personality. They feature make your own breakfast sandwiches and make your own lunch sandwiches with an extensive list of specialty sandwiches on their menu. Be sure to stop in and grab something to go orsit indoors/outdoors with views of the water.

Cute deli with some indoor seating but an excellent patio facing the Newport Bridge.

Got #17 Italian Grinder. This is an excellent Italian-style sandwich and the hot peppers on it gave it the perfect amount of zing. A good sandwich. Their menu is varied with sandwiches and their chip and drink options are fantastic. Food came out super quickly despite a lunch rush.

Having no bathrooms is a one-star ding for me as this place is small. The food, setting, and service were excellent.

The sandwich was ok. My granddaughter and I had ham and cheese and both of them had long hairs in them. Couldn’t finish them.

My husband and I are staying in Jamestown for the week and were recommended to check out EFD for breakfast. We stopped by this morning for some breakfast sandwiches and coffees. While we both enjoyed our coffee—and definitely needed the caffeine—unfortunately, neither of us cared for the breakfast.

The bacon, egg, and cheese on a croissant that my husband ordered tasted cheap and a bit stale, and my egg sandwich wasn’t enjoyable either (sadly, it seems they don’t use a real egg). That said, I’d still recommend stopping in for a coffee, and we might give EFD one more try later this week to check out their grinders.

No restrooms minus 1 star. We are travelers visiting RI drove a bit and a restaurant with no restrooms is a violation of human decency. But the food was good/plentiful meat/sauerkraut on essentially a Reuben. Turkey sandwich Thanksgiving tasty. Oatmeal cookie thick and buttery. Just get me a potty and a place to wash my hands we traveled all that way for no essentials. Boo. I had to use a travel John first time in my life. I know this is Jamestown but at least dig a hole in the ground, eh?!

Wicked good in Jamestown !!!
I was on the island for a day of work... Usually, the traffic is very heavy in the morning but not this day it was light ...
With a little extra time that I had breakfast, the sandwich and a coffee were on my mind, so I asked a Jamestown police officer for a recommendation, and he said to go to East Ferry that it would be excellent he was correct.... I love the place good food, great views, and awesome staff with fair prices been back 2 times in a month...
