Had my party of 24, wedding reception at JB’s on the Water! WOW! Food was fantastic and Audrey was a wonderful server. I don’t have a bad thing to say! I would do it again and again! Beautiful night with a clam cool atmosphere. The drinks were great!! Thank you again to Audrey who made our a night special and stress free. Thank you to Courtney who helped arrange everything via email! 10/10 recommend! Traveled all the way from Western Ma. Cant wait to visit again soon! <3
Crab and lobster cake was rubbery, was probably premade 3 days prior, lacked flavor, and was $32. Tuna Wonton Nacho's were just okay, the Wonton's were definitely cooked multiple days earlier, chewy and almost gross. Drinks were just okay as well. $140 later we are hungry and dissatisfied. Next time I'll cross the bridge and hit either EG or Newport.
Audrey was our server and she was the best server we could have asked for. Our group had so many food allergies and she was so sweet, detail oriented, and assured us she would take care of our group. We just loved her! The food was good but the service would be the reason I’m coming back.
Food was fantastic for smaller plate breakfast food. The staff was really friendly and helpful at all times. The view is fantastic and this seems to be a small hidden gem in the area. Parking can be an issue so plan accordingly. I would visit here again.
Cayden and Casey crushed behind the bar! Drinks were fantastic and they were so attentive to all guests. Great spot.
Very nice place to bring your family. Very affordable and dog friendly
Great burger, amazing views! I’d rate this a 4.5 due to the maze you have to take to get to the restrooms from the restaurant. Other than that it’s fantastic!
Nice view and food is yummy! Ate here twice. Nice by the water and fire pits!
I had the skinniest sword fish steak ever served on a small bed of rice with five pieces of Arugala. The Blackened Cod was not as tasty as expected and the Cod was not Cod fish. Probably catch of the day thinner white fish. We had a party of 6 a few were somewhat satisfied with the food. Location is great. Drinks typical pricey for Jamestown. Disappointed truthfully at $130 per couple.
I dined here last night with my daughter, who is home for a short visit for the holidays. It was a dismal experience. The braised short ribs arrived at the table less than 10 minutes after I ordered. The dish was barely lukewarm. The meat was covered in a glutinous paste of “gravy,” served on a mound of congealed risotto. The accompanying “roasted” carrots were barely cooked through. The “dried cranberries” accompaniment to the “fall salad” was actually a spoonful of canned cranberry sauce. The glass of wine I ordered with the dinner arrived 10 minutes after the dinner. My daughter’s observation that the experience was like planning on going out to dinner and finding tha the only place open was Newport Creamery seemed about right, except probably unfair to Newport Creamery.

Just had dinner here for my birthday, the food and the atmosphere was amazing however, leaving disappointed because the waitress Ariana wasn’t personable. My partner mentioned it was my birthday and she ignored it. Did not feel like a welcoming experience. When we first got there she only checked my ID after ordering cocktails, making me feel uncomfortable. Empty glasses and dirty plates were left on the table after the waitress came over twice. Another member of the staff came over and they were super kind and personable asking us how the food was. We hope to have that experience next time we consider coming here.

We stopped in for a late lunch on Saturday. The staff seemed a little overwhelmed, but someone who wasn't our waiter came to take our order. We both had the New England lobster rolls, and they were delicious. The views are wonderful. Will go back again!

So much better than the other options in Newport. Cheaper, easier, to get to, and more pleasant atmosphere.
