“First visit to Chomp, RI while visiting its newest chef and son in law, Max. Wow this place was hopping. Excellent atmosphere with hysterical signage. I like the window to the kitchen so you can see the chefs and it affords easy access to the plates for the wait staff. McKenna was our waitress and she was Great - attentive and helpful on suggestions. The food was Excellent! All their items are made in house - sauces, dressings, toppings, Burgers, Corned Beef etc!We started with the salt and vinegar Sprouts - oh the flavor and the bacon fat mmm, mmm!!! Then we had the Classic Smash Burger with a GF bun for our GF daughter! Outstanding! Then the wife had the Mediterranean Burger - really tasty! And I had the Truffle Shuffle Burger with Truffle fries- oh Yum! Flavorful and nice and hot off the griddle! Thank you for a great experience and a wonderful meal - We shall be back on our next visit to Providence!!!“

“My boyfriend and I were looking for a relaxed afternoon snack during our trip to Providence and went here based on a recommendation. It did not disappoint! Great selection of beers, pretzels, and dips in a quaint bar setting. We ordered the salted pretzel with honey mustard and the gingerbread pretzel with peppermint hot chocolate dip. Both were great and came out piping hot! The staff were very friendly and the service was good. We also loved the selection of board/card games! We will definitely be back again if we ever find ourselves in this neck of the woods“

Daniela was an extraordinary server who while handling a large party was also able to keep check on us without any delays. Having true Italian foods that had such bold tastes made our trip more special. We would highly recommend Trattoria Romana as a must visit when you are in the New England area.“
