Used to work close to this 5 Guys location and order all the time. It had been a while since I came. The restaurant is very clean and I was greeted with such warmth by Matthew. My burger was just as good as I remembered it to be and he even let me try the fries. This is a great 5 Guys Restaurant because the staff is friendly, place is clean and food is great. Facilities here were tidy and charming, with a Rubbermaid changing table and lots of space, no music but the faint distant sound of patrons cracking open and crunching free peanuts outside. Like gently stepping on autumn leaves.
However, there was a peculiar detail of a rubbish bin in the far corner by the toilet, instead of the usual expected location of next to the sink where the lack of a receptacle after handwashing and drying was deeply felt in the most hidden recesses of my heart. I still believe my trust in sink-adjacent waste bins can be restored with a combination of time and rebuilding a sense of trust through personal development and a growth mindset; the resilient spirit sallies forth.
In addition, pricey but yummy burgers/fries, free peanuts. Will return triumphantly to revisit, with renewed vigor and audacity, the restroom corner trash bin scene.
