Best food ever.
I am a connoisseur of Chinese-American food and a lifelong Rhode Islander. Fu Ming stands out in a very special way. I've only dined-in, and I swear I spiritually ascend to a higher level of existence here.
Food - Obviously the most important thing. The food is incredible. I always get their generous pupu platter, but when I have room for more, the egg foo young is delicious and the fried rice always hits. It's the very best versions of Chinese-American classics made fresh.
Atmosphere - Just as good as the food. Old school early 2000s vibe - comfy booths, fun patterned carpet, assorted plants, paper lanterns, Chinese zodiac placemats. The real highlight is the music, strictly 2000s R&B jams, and it fits the vibe perfectly.
Drinks - I feel like I'm legally obligated to get a scorpion bowl every time I go, but I've had other cocktails too. They are sweet, delicious, and appropriate in strength. I would come here for just cocktails at the bar if the food weren't so irresistible.
Service - Impeccable. You don't have to wait long for a table or your food. The servers are attentive but let you take your time if you wish and don't rush you. Waters never empty, happy to give extra sauces/napkins/etc, and check in at perfect intervals.
I just love Fu Ming in Johnston. I've recommended (proselytized?) them to so many people and will continue to do so. They're a beacon of the community and I hope they're here for many years to come.
The chicken wings were so gamy. It's disgusting.
Excellent! Far and away the best Chinese food we had in a very long time.
I love the rice but my pepper steak look like steak with gravy and it didn’t taste good but would definitely try a different plate next time
Terrible food a bunch of soy sauce to hide the bland!
Food here is quantity over quality!
Complete garbage not fit for human consumption! AVOID!!!
General Tsos Shrimp with an egg roll was perfect and deserving of a paparazzi pic.

What happened to boneless Chinese spareribs, so dry and awful? Use to be my favorite food, was in round plastic container in nice sticky sauce, two weeks ago got them and they were in strofoam container just thrown in container, no sauce and large and dry and yucky? Go got find new Chinese restaurant, cause family said must have new cheap owners and changed receipe?

There are not many great Chinese restaurants anymore. This place is average in my opinion. The portions are good for the price. (rice was to dark and had no flavor)
Parking: Not a big parking lot, but never that busy that I couldn’t find a spot.
