This place 10/10 gave me food poisoning. I think the culprit was the chicken teriyaki skewers. But the friend rice was AWESOME. I’d suggest anything but meat from this place

As far as straight down the middle, take-out, Chinese-American cuisine, there are few places better than Golden City. Portions are great, they nail l the classics, Rangoon’s, spare ribs, chicken fingers, lo mein, fried rice, it’s always fantastic, dive deeper into their Chef Suggestions or specialties and you’ll probably find a new favorite! I love Golden City

I Ordered Delivery, and They NEVER Even Delivered My Order! I Called Twice and They Kept Telling Me The Driver is on The Way. They Could've Just Told Me They Weren't Giving Me My Order.....But After 3 Hours, I Already Knew They Weren't Going to Deliver My Order

Food was AMAZING!! I'm from MA and not a place local in RI is in comparison to MA Chinese food. Found this gem and so happy to be able to have MA comfort food. On point!! Best crab Rangoon I've ever had!!

Ordered just under $80 worth of food and NONE of it was good. Rice was undercooked, wings were overdone, fried wontons were foul, shrimp egg rolls were just ok.
What a crazy night to consider ordering take out. And to return to Golden City in the same night after over ten years! Using the online ordering option worked so well and as I feeding eight people needed food to be on schedule. Golden City was overrun with business and when I arrived the place was packed and the phone was ringing nonstop! All this to say my food was ready on schedule full of flavor and piping hot! I will be back and recommend you too give them a try soon!
