This restaurant was referred to me by a friend a few months ago. I loved it when I first tried it, but the last two times I’ve picked up food here, the quality went downhill. They must change cooks over the summer because it is totally different from when I first tried it. Even down to the egg roll. The egg roll is smaller and the wrapper is different. So disappointing because I thought I found a new Chinese restaurant after China dynasty in Cranston closed down.
We walked in at 9:10 and they close at 10:00 the lady refused to let us sit at the tables and said we can only get take out, my kids were so disappointed because they really wanted to eat their after their basketball
Game all because they didn’t wanna wash some dishes, but it’s ok I will never eat there again.
Our first visit and first customers of the day. We got half off the price. Food is average but place is cozy.
They are excellent... The Food Is Great, & The Employees Are Amazing!!! One Day I Ordered Food, Came To Pick It Up, And My Card Wasn't Working. So She Told Me Not To Worry About It, Pay For The Food Next Time!! I Give The Food A 5 Out Of 5!!!!
Was looking forward to trying this place since we moved to Johnston. Placed an order through their website and went to pick it up at the time they said the order would be ready. Got there and they said that they didn’t get the order, then they checked their fax and it was there and that they missed it. They then said it would take 45+ minutes!? And blamed us for ordering instead of taking accountability or updating their wait times on their website. They spoke very rudely and condescendingly. Needless to say we won’t be back.
This is all I’ve got to say. Salmonella is not on my Christmas list this year
Chicken fingers were oily. The spareribs were salty. Rice was salty. It was not worth it. They gave 1 sauce packet for 4 chicken fingers

What an absolute gem ? Rosie is the sweetest person ever, felt like family from the moment we walked in! So nice to my daughter, and every single person in the dining area! We all ended up talking and laughing together, what an absolutely wonderful night!

Ordered takeout last night, gluten free general tso chicken and gluten free pork fried rice, with another non gluten free meal (orange chicken) and crab rangoon. Everything tasted good and is reasonably priced. The gluten free pork fried rice and gluten free general tso chicken was for someone with celiac who is highly sensitive to any contamination and they enjoyed the meal and had no issues whatsoever! They even included gluten free soy sauce in the bag that was used on the gf rice since it doesn’t have soy sauce on it. Will definitely order from Red Ginger again

Ordered veggie fried rice, got white rice with some mysterious veggie (mostly bean sprouts) in a white sauce... Pretty disappointed, my heart was set on fried rice today, not gonna starve for another half hour to drive back and wait for the right food to be cooked....

Over the last 4 years the food here has gone down the drain. We use to enjoy their wonton soup, but the last time we got it, it was awful...the broth tasted like dish water and all that was in it was boiled wontons and 3 teeny tiny slivers of pork. ...The broccoli and chicken...chicken was tasteless and rubbery and the eggs roll had zero taste with just cabbage in it...Cheap. We won't be eating there any more.
