The food was okay. (Average tasting / quality , and pricey for pub style food) Drink tasted a little funny and "off". Vibes were good as it's a large bar with pool tables and jenga. It's very large and spacious on the inside which looks deceiving when you drive by it. They had karaoke too and it looks like different fun things happening each day. Overall it's a nice large hangout spot for some drinks and the local Johnston watering hole. If we go back, we'd probably just split a different app, or get a canned/bottled drink instead.

Been to The Ave several times and everything has always been great. The staff is very friendly, the food is excellent, and the atmosphere is great. I would highly recommend checking it out.

Well, I guess you would have to go there to order food because they don't answer the phone otherwise. I have been trying to call since 11 o'clock and nobody answers the phone.. real nice.3/16 at 11
Went here for some drinks and to play pool. Gf and I drank 5 or 6 beers each, got around for the group of 6 we were with. We were pretty surprised the bill was $180.There weren't very many people there, probably due to this awful DJ bingo thing they had going on there. Basically he plays snippets of well known songs and you mark the box on your paper and so forth.Yawn.Anyway, playing pool itself was fine. Our group had fun. Drinks were apparently way more than we realized, but it is what it is.Server was nice, attentive, tolerant.Didn't eat. Don't wanna know the price of the food lol.
