Mom and I had a wonderful visit here. We liked the wines and really enjoyed the conversation with the young lady doing the tastings, she was pleasant and informative. We will definitely be back.

Verde Vineyards offers some of the best wine in the region, making it a favorite among many. The ambiance is nice with a newer building set back in the woods. Visitors can bring their own food, as the vineyard does not serve meals. The knowledgeable staff and the wine tasting experience, which includes 7 different types (5 white, 2 red) for $14 or $2 per sample, make it a hidden treasure and a must-see. The tasting room is cozy and gorgeous, and the scenic view of the lake adds to the peaceful atmosphere. The owner, Jim, is passionate about wine and shares fascinating stories about the vineyard and each wine during tasting. Customers often enjoy the Bianco d'Amelia and the Rose, and many recommend the reds, especially the St. Croix red. The rural setting and quiet Sundays provide a relaxing experience, making it a perfect place to sip wine, hang out, and enjoy the scenery. Staff members, including Ian and Anthony, are friendly and welcoming, adding a personal touch to the visit.
