The first time we went to Verde Vineyards, we were greeted by the gentleman that owns the vineyard for our tasting. We loved hearing about the history of the vineyard, and the wine was delicious! We’ve since come back to get more wine as gifts because we love it!
Absolutely delicious wine!! We love the Rosé. I highly recommend the wine tasting and most definitely the Rosé!! Friendly welcoming And knowledgable staff 💖 Worth the trip!! We will be going back soon 😍
Amazing staff that lets you know about the history behind the wine and business. Great scenery as well. The award winning Bianco d’ Amelia white wine was surely on point and tasteful. Truly a great time in any season.
Great place to sit and have a glass of wine or buy a case for Xmas.
Love Verde Vineyards it's so beautiful, been going there for a few years now. The owner is a sweetheart and the wine is delicious. Great place to sip wine, hang out and enjoy and the scenery. I highly recommend it.
Mr Verde is the best! His wine, even better!
Excellent....Jim was exceptional....the wine was great
This is the best kept secret of Rhode Island. The people are amazing and the wine is so fabulous!
Great wine!! The owner is very friendly and knowledgeable. The tasting room is gorgeous and cozy. The vineyard itself has beautiful view of a lake and overall is very peaceful. Will be visiting frequently :)
We recently had the pleasure of visiting Verde Vineyards in Johnston, RI, and we can't say enough good things about this gem! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel right at home. A special shoutout to Jim, the owner, whose passion for wine and winemaking truly shines through. He shared fascinating stories about the vineyard and the background of each wine during our tasting, making the experience not just enjoyable but also educational. We even got to review some Latin and bonded over the ancient language. Jim is such a fun person to talk to, and his enthusiasm is contagious! We also had the pleasure of meeting Ian and Anthony (and Katie the dog!), who were equally friendly and welcoming.
After our tasting indoors, we were able to relax outside with two bottles of their great wine and some snacks we brought with us. The wines are exceptional, especially the reds—they're definitely a must-try! We can't wait to return for more. If you're looking for a delightful wine experience with a personal touch, Verde Vineyards is the place to be!

The best wine me and my wife have ever had, the owner is very friendly and informative. 4 white wines and 3 Red wines and we loved them all! All of them were great. Highly recommend the tasting. We ended up liking the Bianco d'Amelia and the Rose the most.
Great experience with very nice wines and a knowledgeable host.
Make sure google provides the correct address to the vineyard as sometimes it's incorrect.
Great wine, great space! Bring some snacks and relax!
Verde is a great place to relax and share a bottle of their wine.
I went with my partner. I told the owner I like reds, I sampled 3 red selections they had available and ended up going with the St. Croix. Great wine tasting experience. Quality of wine was superb. A nice surprise was when they let the chickens out of their coup! Highly recommend visiting
