Top notch experience every time. Even our picky kids rave about the ramen! If you haven’t tried this gem yet, you are missing out! We went in on a Saturday night, got seated right away, and the food came out, made to order, in minimal time. We even got seconds on the buns and they came out quick and delicious, made with the freshest ingredients, even right before closing time. Matt and Alex really have this down to a science. Hats off to you guys! Amazing place!!

We went to the New Wave Kitchen before seeing a show down the road at URI. The menu has a good variety and several great vegetarian/vegan options. I got the Spicy AF Miso (but substituted in some pork) and it was DEFINITELY spicy...but good. The Pork Buns were not your typical bun...but they were absolutely delicious.

Stopped in for lunch on Saturday. Casual spot with amazing food and BYOB. Does it get any better?House Ramen, Sweet Hot Chicken Rice Bowl, and buns were delicious. Highly recommend New Wave Kitchen!

Lovely family run establishment there were 2 brothers working together when I stopped by for an amazing lunch this afternoon and they provided excellent service and food- I felt at home in the laid back atmosphere- thanks again boys! Although you order at the counter and seat yourself remember to leave them an adequate tip in the jar on the counter-they’re working hard!

Great food, I had the ramen and tuna bun. The owner/chef (I think) greeted me with a handshake and was very kind and courteous. The atmosphere was super chill and had great feel good tunes with cool art everywhere. I hope this place does well in the future and gets better and better with time. Too bad I gotta go back to Chattanooga...No Ramen ?

Best restaurant in Wakefield, or South county for that matter. Matt and Alex are very talented and convivial hosts, they never fail to put on an amazing service. Japanese fusion, ramen, steamed bun. Delicious.

Terrific food with fresh ingredients, friendly service, casual vibe. It was a 10/10 experience. I had the spicy af ramen which was fantastic. It is definitely spicy, but if that's your thing you will love it. I started with a tofu veggie bun which was equally delish. the tofu was well cooked, the bun itself was perfectly fluffy, and the pickled veggies and new wave sauce topping rounded it all out. Will definitely be back, and look forward to trying other items on the menu!

Stumbled across this place on our way to Newport and stopped in for a quick dinner.The poke bowls here are amazing! Great fish quality and reasonable prices for the portion size. There was a little too much ginger for my partner in the salmon bowl but I thought it was fine.Would skip the pork buns next time because the poke bowl alone definitely was enough food.
