Trattoria Romana Lincoln

I’ve been going to Trattoria Romana since 2014. There are some things on the menu that changed they say they have wild caught salmon. It isn’t wild caught. It’s farm raised which you can visibly see with your eyes that it’s not red that it’s an orange color. The last time I was there a few months ago I ordered sautéed spinach asked for no seed oil. It was smothered with seed oil. The waitress asked the chef to confirm it, and he agreed that it was indeed seed oil. I had informed them beforehand that I do not eat SEED Oil Sw any kind they try to serve that to me along with my eggplant Parmesan. I went back a few weeks later and ordered scallops and shrimps and they were sautéed in seed oil I sent it back and they sent me a scallops and shrimps, but this time sautéed in PAMI do not eat anything cooked in PAM or SEED oils. I wound up just eating strawberries and they probably were not organic.

I've been here a few times now for business dinners and for a business lunch. The food has been fantastic every time and the service is great as well. The lunch spot versus the dinner spot are two completely different vibes. They also have outdoor seating so you really can have a different experience depending on what you're looking for.

The dinner side is definitely more dimly lit, with darker wood and heavier portions. The lunch spot has kind of an open seafood deli and shop situation. The outside is really nicely shared. I will certainly continue to come here again. Parking is easy too as it's in a strip mall.

Our server was excellent he treated us like royalty ans had good food and drink suggestions. I got the chicken parm and had a strawberry rose spritz. We were full and wasn’t going to get dessert but decided to anyway. Would definitely go back

Had an hour to kill today between appointments so we decided to sit down for an appetizer and a glass of prosecco. We have been going to this restaurant for the past 10 years and always have been pleased with their service and food, but today it was a disappointment!!!. Not sure who was working the kitchen, we ordered a caprese salad and to our surprise 😲 instead of basil on each slice of it, they put slices of red onions, that is ABSURD, if they run out of basil, why not tell the customer and allow us to order something else? I hope management reads this and take actions to ensure their employees keep the quality that this place has been known for.

I couldn't find something to complain about, even if I wanted to. My wife and I reserved a table for our anniversary. Our server, Kyle came out with champagne to wish us a happy anniversary. From there everything exceeded our expectations. Our server was outstandingly knowledgeable and helpful. He was very attentive to us all night and ensured we were informed of all the specials and that our meals were prepared as we desired. Each course was phenomenal. I got the filet special with sweet potato gnocchi. Every item on my plate complimented each other. Dessert was fantastic as well. I also want to point out that in addition to Kyle being a flawless server, the entire staff contributes to your experience. Empty plates are cleared, and leftovers are packed up for you by any member of the wait staff who walks by and notices. My wife and I don't dine at finer establishments very often, so when we do it's important that the experience is worth it for us. Tonight, Trattoria Romana made our night special.

We had a party of eight. The service was outstanding, each one of us raved about our meals and the atmosphere was fantastic. It's a special night out at Trattoria in Lincoln. The manager, Vincent, has done a great job assembling a professional staff that make the experience feel above a regular night out. Bravo!

Great food and service. Dessert was good (lemon torte I'm on a mission to find the perfect Italian lemon cake) but was definitely frozen and not fresh. Still tasty.

The veal parmesan was the best I've ever had. A server was most attentive and knowledgeable and everyone else we met were very pleasant would definitely go back.

Food was good but expensive. Expected more of an Italian vibe, but they played teen pop which I thought was odd. Other than that, good experience. The waiter was very knowledgeable and polite and the management made sure to stop and say hello which I thought was nice.

This is my favorite spot for a meal while in Lincoln. Consistently delicious and great service!

Overall experience was excellent. Staff was attentive and very friendly. There for Easter Dinner so it was very busy. Most specials were on the high side price wise. Overall excellent. I have been there several times in the past.
