Sakonnet Vineyard is a gem in Little Compton. Despite the cold of early November, the vineyard was buzzing and fire pits provided warmth so patrons could enjoy the autumn foliage. Whilst I don't personally imbibe, my party was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the wine. Brenden did an excellent job explaining the soil, history of local agriculture and the story behind 'Eye of the Storm' wine. I was especially appreciative to Brenden for going out of his way...
Take every review posted before July 2024 with the world's tiniest grain of salt as it was essentially a different establishment. New management took over in late June 2024; this has resulted in a wholesale transformation. New sommelier Matt has infused a surge of overwhelming passion and immense knowledge into Sakonnet Vineyard, and all of the employees have become infected.

Delicious food and wine! It is a lovely place to visit. There is a large lawn for people to sit outside but very limited indoor seating for raining days. Luckily, the umbrellas allowed us to sit outside today despite a light drizzle. I'm so glad we went as we had a great meal! The staff are extremely friendly! We brought a 1 year old and found it very child-friendly.
