Been coming to Anthony's for the 2 years I've lived here. All of the food here is delicious, and they have a great selection of raw seafood in the market area.My wife and I really enjoy the Portuguese Fish Chowder...it is the best we've ever had! A little spice and plenty of chunks of shrimp, fish, scallops, potatoes and chourico! This is a life changing bowl of chowda! ?We recently tried the cod fish sandwich and that was tasty as well. I highly recommend stopping in if you've been here; otherwise, you're missing out!

Our 1st stop for Seafood! Always great service and food is amazing. I would recommend this place as the #1 seafood restaurant in Newport County.

Anthony's is both a seafood restaurant and a seafood shop. The chowder is outstanding. The steamers are perfectly cooked. Everything we've ever had here has been top notch!

There is no "dine in" option. The restaurant side is closed. This is a seafood market only.

Fresh seafood in a casual way. Had the clam chowder, swordfish and fried haddock. All very tasty. It's a bit pricey but not bad.

When a restaurant is featured on food network, you know it is the real deal. The seafood at Anthony's is so fresh and all the food we ate here (from their main dishes, sides, and drinks) were SO good. This place deserves all the praise! My friends and I ordered kung pao calamari, stuffed quahog, baked scallops (which comes with 2 sides of your choice) and lobster roll (which comes with fries). My faves were the kung pao calamari (love how they infused calamari with familiar Asian flavors) and the lobster roll (the lobster was SO fresh and the serving of lobster was very generous). I would also recommend getting the stuffed quahog, since it is a speciality here and was one of the dishes featured on food network! They also have a selection of various alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to pair with your meal. No seafood meal is complete without a good ole beer or sweet lemonade or tea. I love how they had some locally made drinks on the menu as well. All in all, really dug this place. It's has the accolade of being featured in food network but still maintains its vibe as a local,down-to-earth joint. No frills or thrills, just good ole seafood!

Must try the Portuguese chowder. Chunks of peppery sausage. Huge clams. Shrimp. I've never had anything like this. Very tasty. Very filling. Whole belly clams also excellent.

This is my number 1 go to place for lobster rolls and clam chowder. Hands down the best I had in Newport area. Everything is really fresh. The price is right and the staff is awesome.

First time there, i ordered crab cakes from the online menu but was told it was the old menu and that they did not have any. When i picked up my order i saw them on the fish market side. I wish they would have let me know. On the fish market side they were very kind and helpful.

Upon entry you are greeted by the fresh seafood market that looks like they have a nice fresh selection to indulge in. The restaurant is immediately to the right with no partition between the two. We ordered hot lobster rolls and New England clam chowder. Overall the food was fresh and tasty. The chowder is a must try (especially on a chilly Fall night). The lobster roll had tender pieces of lobster with no fillers. Just a bun and lobster meat which is completely fine with me. The fries are special. They were hot, well-seasoned and perfectly crispy. The service was pleasant, the place was clean and the bathroom well kept. I'd come back next time I'm in the area for sure!
