My husband said the worst chicken wings he has ever had, they tasted old and dry. My Chicken parm dinner had was awful too. I took one bite of the chicken And did not want another. We will not order again

I am an Applebee's Fan...but the Middletown location has consistently been a let down. While I am writing a review on a delivery, I am honestly able to say this is the last time I will ever order or recommend this location. I ordered an appetizer combo tonight...(boneless wings, mozz. sticks, and the pretzels). I am not sure why anyone would do this, but the pretzels (which are covered in heavy sea salt), were thrown in the same container as the marinated wings and mozz sticks...leaving EVERYTHING covered in salt and ruining the entire dish. I mean...common sense? Truly disappointed, and will not return.

Constantly having issues with my food from it being undercooked to missing food items. I’ve spoken to m the manager and received a pep talk about how me wanting my burger remade is “driving up food costs for the kitchen” I’ve received nothing but attitude and smart remarks from her. Terrible customer service. The servers on the other hand are always helpful and friendly. Especially Mikita she’s the best.

We were very disappointed with the service at this location. We’re very understanding people and would understand if the restaurant was understaffed and in a rush. However, the restaurant is absolutely dead, workers have been sitting around talking. We didn’t get even a glass of water until about 15 mins after we ordered. The food took forever, and then we ended up getting the wrong food. Once again i understand a miscommunication but we were already frustrated bc a trip to a crappy chain restaurant shouldn’t take 1hour. The manager was very rude yo us trying to imply we were being absurd for being annoyed. No one caused a scene we were just trying to get the right meal. Anyway besides that our table was a mess we were a bunch of the other ones. Dirty dishes were sitting on tables for a very long time. And all the workers were sitting around talking. I don’t understand the issue. I love to get crappy applebees but this has literally never happened to me before.

Very racist ! I waited in the lobby waiting for 20 min . There were Caucasin people who came in after and they got service from but kept walking past me and not serving people of color . Very rude and need new management .

I wouldn't recommend it. My girlfriend and i came here after a great day of doing helicopter tours and a visit to the newport car museum that was great. here how ever was not so great. It was slow, which we assumed would be good cause it wasn't busy. Despite it being slow the waitress was very slow. When we placed our order she forgot to ring in out appetizer dispite asking use multiple questions about our appetizer. We were served our meal by the store manager who was surprised when I said we said we ordered BBQ wings for an appetizer and never got them, just to find out it was never rung in. We saw our originally waitress maybe 2 or 3 times at time at most, the 3rd time was for a box that took forever. Basically she asked us for drinks which took a very long time. we saw our drinks waiting on the bar counter for atleast 10 to 15 minutes before we actually got them. We delt with the manager probably the same amount of times as we saw our server. Even tho they messed up our order and we didn't get what we ordered, the manager didnt do anything to make it right. We paid in full for what we did receive. Despite theyre lack ability to follow thought on what we actually ordered. We were never compensated for they're messed up, even tho they messed up our order. The food was sub par and I would never, never ever recommend this place to anyone. If you want to be let down, not given what you ordered and not compensated for the mess up of the restaurant then I would highly recommend this place. If you actually care about your meal and would like every thing you ordered in a timely manner and be treated properly then this is not the place for you. If you are looking for sub par food and service then you are in the right place.

Decent experience. No alcohol in my mixed drink, though. Maybe the alcohol machine ran out of alcohol or something. Like when the fountain soda machine... never mind.

We came on Sunday at 2200. After the host let us sit, we waited few minutes.she came again and couldn't answer questions like the price of the beer.
We waited more than 15 minutes to order. During this time 3 different workers of the restaurant came to us, but no one took an order.after mor than 15 minutes we left without eating. We'll never go back there again.

Ordered a cocktail recommended by server. Twenty minutes went bye and finally canceled because not made yet. Only 4 people seated at bar. No bartender. Only 7 booths occupied. Dead and takes 30 minutes and no food yet. Horrible service
