This review is being compiled by two former New Yorkers who feel we really know a good bagel when we see one. Well, don’t pass by Bagel Boys! I went to the Middletown Bagel Boys. The bagels were good, though they hadn't replenished the types yet so I didn't get the exact flavors I wanted. Also they were probably better when they were fresh. They informed me that they keep making them through the day, which not all bagel places will do that. I just got there in between production cycles.
We were visiting Newport & decided we wanted a breakfast sandwich . We were the only ones in the shop , but the line grew pretty quickly after we arrived. I have today there wasn't any sense of urgency to wait on customers . We ordered a bagel with fried egg & cheese & coffee . Both were delicious . Good coffee ...I needed a fresh cup after the bitter Keurig brewed in our hotel room .They have a few tables outside , so it was warm enough to eat there .Yes ,...
