I went to the Middletown Bagel Boys. The bagels were good, though they hadn't replenished the types yet so I didn't get the exact flavors I wanted. Also they were probably better when they were fresh. They informed me that they keep making them through the day, which not all bagel places will do that. I just got there in between production cycles.
We were visiting Newport & decided we wanted a breakfast sandwich . We were the only ones in the shop , but the line grew pretty quickly after we arrived. I have today there wasn't any sense of urgency to wait on customers . We ordered a bagel with fried egg & cheese & coffee . Both were delicious . Good coffee ...I needed a fresh cup after the bitter Keurig brewed in our hotel room .They have a few tables outside , so it was warm enough to eat there .Yes ,...
Huge thank you to BagelBoys today! — i used to live in Newport and was working there today … figured I would pick up my bagel loving daughter some of RI’s finest! Once @ the counter, I realized they did not take credit and I had no other means of payment - they were nice enough to let me take the bagels and pay them back next time (knowing i live 39 miles away!) trust me, I will be back as soon as I can! thanks again and have a great weekend
