Easter brunch. Atmosphere was nice but the food was overpriced for what it was ($8 for a small side of corned beef hash, $5 for three skinny and fatty pieces of bacon).Also not a great selection for kids. The “pancake” was more like a quiche. I like the vibe here but wasn't impressed with the food and speed of service (though we were told what to expect once we were seated).
Food was super disappointing. Quiche was served ice cold and ham was fatty and overcooked. Our waitress was very nice and apologetic and gave us $5 coupons to try to make us feel better. Easter Sunday brunch with zero Easter ambiance.

We ate in the taproom for Easter brunch. We waited almost two hours for our meal to be served! We almost left because we were tired of waiting. Our waitress was great and apologetic, but it wasn't her fault. Manager came over to apologize and stated they were understaffed and not used to serving breakfast. Yet, there were two tables that sat after us who got their food way before us. They did comp us for our drinks. The food was decent but not great. I have eaten downstairs before and service and food was great. So if I go again, I will definitely not go for a holiday.

Went for Easter brunch. Extremely delayed food delivery, took over an hour and a half for food to arrive, and when it did, it was barely edible. The wait staff were fine, but overall a poorly run operation. It's beautiful there, we keep giving it a chance but stick with the vineyard side and skip the restaurant.

Newport Vineyards is such a cool place to visit and we would definitely come back. Our daughter planned this for our other daughter's bachelorette event. She made the reservations at exactly the 2 week point when she was told. There were about 12 of us and our daughter asked that if we could not sit together at one table we would want the tables right next to one another. We had 3 tables that were not close together. However, there was a table right next to us that could have fit most of us. Thanks for listening.

We went for the afternoon dessert menu. We were disappointed in the sweet treat board. We did order one dessert plate which was better. The coffee drink was delicious. The service was good. We are disappointed the fireplace was not lighted and the sofas around the fireplace are gone.

We were there to taste the wine and enjoy the pop up desserts! Everything was excellent. We had bigger eyes than our stomachs but enjoyed take home desserts last night with wine we bought in the adorable store!!! Great location, great service, good COVID protocols and just generally nice people. We will be back!!!
We went to the pop-up event for Flights, Bites and Boards. Great beer and wine flights and the cheese board was delicious. I'm really hopping they open up the top again where Brix was. We miss going there!

Flights, bites and boards event was so fun! The food was fantastic. Especially liked the short rib toast and the smoked butternut bites. Sangria flight and cookie dessert board were great. Our waitress was excellent. I am going to attempt a red sangria replica for Thanksgiving with the bottle of Cabernet Franc I purchased at the wine shop. We will be back for the al dente event!

My husband and I love coming to the vineyard whenever we are in Newport. This was our first time in The Overlook. We had a great table overlooking the barrels and vineyard. I was extremely disappointed when I was eating my chicken “pie” which was really an empanada and but right into a 1.5 inch bone. I told the waitress and all she did was give me a new plate. Rather than apologizing and taking it off our bill because I was disgusted to eat anymore of it, she went on serving others.

I know there were time limits for the table, but our waitress had us order drinks and then told us that the next reservation was there and we had to leave a soon as she brought over the drinks. We hadn't ordered a dessert board and we had to rush our last flights/drinks. It would have been nice to have a little more of a time warning from our server. Maybe if there is another even like this, they can extend the reservation times to 1 hour and 45 mins or even 2 hours and just have a more limited seating? The pop up was a wonderful idea, we just wished there was a little more time to enjoy. Overall, the pop up experience was very unique and food/drinks were delicious. Hope for another one soon!
