Visited the area for a week, and the place was never open during the summer??? They might as well permanently close - or maybe they have and just havent updated anything? Conflicting hours on the doors, on their website,, on the voice message when you call and no one answers, on their facebook page - who knows? Maybe someone should do a wellness check on the owners - might be lost at sea.. Claims to be "best" in Newport... but when you don't actual open your doors to serve food, that's a hollow claim.

This place has amazing pizza for many, many years! I highly recommend the white pizzas such as Buffalo chicken, rosemary chicken, steak bomb etc. they use garlic oil instead of red sauce. The crust is magnificent. It’s worth driving there from far away because there is no good pizza places anywhere near New Bedford-Fall river area. Anytime I get to go here I am very excited and have a hard time deciding what to get and then I am even more excited when I sink my teeth in.

Worst pizza experience ever especially for a first time visit. The pizza was burnt on the bottom and I didn’t realize it until I got home. Truly disappointed!!

Ordered half olive and mushroom and they charged me for two toppings. I asked and they said they dont do half rudely and walked away? Could have told me on the phone when I ordered and I would have got my moneys worth. Speaking of money, overpriced for a pizza with raw dough center. Customer service is a joke. I work in the service industry and thats not how you run a business if you ever want repeat business. One and done.

Good pizza and salads that are outrageously expensive. We got a 16” 3 cheese/ basil pizza and it was $27.49. To top it off, they charge the exact same price for a specialty pizza with multiple toppings or 6 meats on it which doesn’t seem to make sense. I should’ve paid more attention to the prices.

We ordered take out of a traditional pizza with pepperoni and meatballs. It was cooked perfectly and we enjoyed it. Would definitely order from here again.

Greek salad was good but pizza wasn't.All 4 people in my group agreed.Pretty flavorless, the crust, the ingredients, the sauce, the cheese.Eating it cold the next day provided more flavor than fresh, but even then it was mostly salty flavor.

pre-teen and I were passing through on a short road trip vacation, pulled into the parking lot to look up a place to eat dinner and ending up eating at Carmella's. BEST PIZZA in Rhode Island and New England, per the pre-teen. We really like our hometown New Jersey pizza...but Carmella's crust just blew me away. Perfectly crispy, very tasty! I was happy that we couldn't order just slices (due to pandemic) - we had half a pizza for lunch the next day! YUM
