If you’re anywhere near Middletown RI, you have to check out Chester’s Pizza! The pizza is incredible, perfectly cooked, loaded with flavor, and hands down some of the best we’ve had.
The staff is awesome and super welcoming. Dave, the owner, is so down to earth and genuinely made us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. You can tell they really care about their customers and the experience they provide.
To top it all off, they have free to play arcade games like Galaga and Pacman!
We’ll definitely be back. A total must-try in Middletown!

My husband & I stopped for a quick bite and felt like kids in heaven while we waited. The pizza was incredible. The crust was perfectly crisp on the outside and soft inside, the sauce tasted fresh and flavorful, and the cheese was melted to gooey perfection. Every bite was delicious easily one of the best slices I’ve had and at one of the most authentic places. 🍕

Great spot! We stumbled across it on our last visit and ended up going back again another day before we left! Food was amazing! Owner and staff were extremely friendly! They even have a few free play retro arcades and pinball HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! We definitely will be going back!

Very friendly staff. Whole wheat pizza crust available with large variety of vegetables to go on it. Healthy fresh vegetable coleslaw available sporadically on request. Non-alcoholic ginger beer! Checkerboard, free pinball and electronic games.

Checkers is back and it's very good!
As a kid growing up in Middletown in the 90s I took a lot for granted. One was apparently Checkers Pizza... Same friendly owner, excellent product, and fair prices. Easily one of the best pizzas on aquidneck island. Give it a shot!

Chose this because it was close and so we could stay in the hotel and watch football but it did not disappoint. When I called, the gentleman who answered the phone was the most chipper guy and it really set the tone. I got their Caesar salad which was enough to feed two people and the small pizza was also perfect amount for two of us! Would recommend if you’re in the area. Also loved the arcade games when I went in to pick up the pizza.
