This is a warm wonderful local place! You can tell the regulars and staff know each other well but are friendly to new faces too! Casual- seat yourself, no menus here- breakfast and lunch menu and specials are posted above the food area. Definitely consider the French toast, pancakes, or omelette with home fries!
Breakfast is a simple thing but you would be surprised how many places cannot get it right. Chelseas is a quaint little eatery but it was everything it's supposed to be. Stopped by randomly for breakfast. My cheese eggs were perfectly scrambled with the cheese blended well. Sausage perfectly seared without an overpowering pork flavor (like I get in some places). Coffee was robust and hot and even though there was one server...she was on it!!! attending to everyone quickly...
Great place to have breakfasts especially when your hotel does not include one.
A lot of locals go there and this is usually an indication of the good place. And it did not disappointed us. Omelettes are awesome!
