China Star 2 is probably one of the better Chinese food places on the island. Honestly, the food is consistent which is what we care about. However, I would never get delivery, it should always be picked up. When it is picked up, it’s always hot, fresh and good. But this is the third time we’ve gotten a delivery that took about an hour, on a slow night where we live five minutes away. I called and was told 20 min before my food came that the food was done but they were waiting...
I put the 4 stars on atmosphere on purpose. This place is more about the food. You go to this place for the good food. Granted the lady taking our order was lovely, kind, and patient as we were first time visitors from Washington State staying in the hotel in the back yard. But florescent lighting and ceiling tiles... This isn't sit down for your first date atmosphere. You get it to go and take your date to a beautiful location and blow them away with the delicious food.

I've visited China Star II twice within the last year, since my former favorite Chinese restaurant has closed. The quality of the food and ease of ordering have been great. The restaurant is clean and there is adequate parking. I was surprised to order Moo Shu and see that it included lotus petals, as many other Chinese food restaurants in the area no longer seem to include lotus petals in their Moo Shu dishes.
