Excellent service. More importantly the family that runs this are kind and are some of the few places that value this on the Island. Newport needs to get back to its roots of charity and this family is on that!

This is my regular place to get a Gyro. The owner is really friendly and so is his family that also work there

Used to like their chicken, but this box of fried chicken we just bought today wasn’t freshly made, the meat were dried and hard, more like double or triple fried chicken.
Could be good if you actually get what you bought. Got lamb kebab to go and when I got home it was some gross school-lunch chicken patty type junk. Just go to the Pocket Cafe across the street, probably less of a headache.

Apparently not only one halal food place in the area but also friendly staff and they showed a nice peaceful area to pray. Not fancy but clean restroom. I would recommend to carry mineral water or sugar free options.

A “no frills” spot for great food.
Question for the owner: what region is the middle eastern/kebab menu from?

Lamb kebab is not chunks of lamb but very spicy ground up something that is not lamb. My lips are still burning from the over spice on what I hoped to be my dinner. Instead this is inedible mess can be filed under G for garbage. No indication given this would be this hot. Food lacks taste and quality.. save your money and go somewhere else.

Rude Spanish staff who think it’s ok to speak Spanish behind the counter and speak insults in Spanish about the customers. If I remember correctly she called me a cabron.
I've had dozens of the 2pc thigh, mash, and slaw combos and I've never been disappointed. Cheesesteak is great too, and so are the middle eastern dishes.
Although some visits better than others, this is a very consistent place to grab a bite.
Owner and staff are good people imo.
Not a place I'd think of to go out to eat necessarily, but definitely one to grab it to go.
