I called in a pick up order and was told it would be ready in 10 min. I show up 20 min later and was told it wasn’t ready yet. After waiting 30 more minutes at the store the host figured out that my pick up order had been sitting on a shelf right in front of us the entire time. No apology or anything, paid full price for food that was at that point cold and gross

First of all, our server was outstanding. She was fast and friendly. She asked necessary questions about how much food we wanted and how it should be prepared. Everything was delicious. I has blueberry pancakes with turkey sausage. My wife had an omelet and pancakes. She also had a side order of breakfast meat. The price of our meal was also excellent.

It's a classic old school joint and that's the only reason it's a 4. Not a five for food and atmosphere, but personally I think it's just what it's supposed to be. One of the nicest IHOPs I've ever been in. Staff are always very friendly, food is always good and fresh and it actually feels like the original international House of pancakes and its prime. Prime. I would say Newport IHOP is probably one of the last of a dying breed that still has tremendous pride in their restaurant and it shows
