It's a classic old school joint and that's the only reason it's a 4. Not a five for food and atmosphere, but personally I think it's just what it's supposed to be. One of the nicest IHOPs I've ever been in. Staff are always very friendly, food is always good and fresh and it actually feels like the original international House of pancakes and its prime. Prime. I would say Newport IHOP is probably one of the last of a dying breed that still has tremendous...
Good food, friendly service. The only thing we didn't like were crepes... tasted like they were fried on very old oil, bitter aftertaste... ended up in the garbage 🤷♀️😔
So I'd love this place since I was a kid Great pancakes and eggs... The only reason I'm giving it three stars at this particular location is that when you walk in there seems to be a strong burning type smell coming from the broiler or the fryilator or wherever. But it's definitely something that they should correct and fix. When you walk in. You want to smell fresh bacon and pancakes. Just a little constructive criticism IHOP. I know you guys can fix his problem....
