How good is this place? Mid December, 7:15am , 12 people waiting outside in 23 degrees weather!!!
Incredible, fresh, scents, variety….just be ready to order; this is not a place that has stragglers. Paris in Rhode

Pastries were very delicious! Minus one star because I hate going to a place that has their own rules but embarrass you if you don't know them.

What a Gem! We were only able to get some bread & croissants as they ran out but man it was delicious. The owner was so pleasant & friendly. I would love if they gave a place in Boston. Highly recommended but you need to get there before 9am. Merci pour le délicieux macaron.

Just in town for the weekend and arrived at the bakery at 9am. As we suspected, they were sold out already ! We had our 18 month old and they offered us the kid sized croissants that we happily purchased. They were delicious!!

It is definitely worth the trip! I drove one hour and a half to get here because the pastry is out of this world! So good. My daughter loved it!

The best bread I’ve had on this side of the Atlantic! Absolutely incredible. We live 70 miles away and we’re able to order an advance and go pick it up after the shop had closed. The owner of the shop told me not to rush because he would be there and for us to just knock on the door. I think that is customer service that you just don’t find these days. he was also impressed that we were driving 70 miles to pick up a loaf of his bread. That’s how good it is. I’m tempted to give them a bad review so that way people will be competing over this delicious bread. ? So if you like bread and you happen to be in the Newport area and up early enough definitely go try it!

We've visited with friends who live nearby this bakery. We tried to last year, sold out. Last month we tried. Sold out. This past Saturday we tried, sold out again. Finally we got up at 6:45am, made it by 7:30 and already the line out the bakery was reaching three doors down.

If you want baked goods: get. here. when. they. open.

I was worried the baked goods would be beyond my pallet. They weren't. It's the best I've ever experienced. The service was jovial.

I'm a big fan of the almond croissant, their's is excellent. I also really enjoyed the Barnaby special. The pistachio croissant had chocolate in it that I think overpowered the pistachio. I'd avoid that again, personally, but honestly there's not a bad thing in house.

The finest French pastries and breads, just get there early because they tend to run out quickly (because they're so so good!)

Baguettes were disappointing. They were doughy and I tasted clumps of salt. They weren't crunchy. The best thing about them were the sesame seeds. I was expecting them to be at the level of a real French bakery. Having lived in France for several years, I can say there would never be a waiting line out the door for this bread in France.
