Great place to hang out, have great wine and have some fun. We got the wine flights (all were great!) and the homemade chips with the dip. Grabbed scrabble and had a really enjoyable afternoon!

Booked a reservation here for my birthday, never been before, and was excited bc it had such good reviews. Got there early bc we planned to do a tasting and try their wines before our reservation in the restaurant. Too bad there was an event happening in their tap/tasting room so it was closed, which of course was not stated on their website so we were surprised and the event was dampened immediately when we arrived bc there was no space for us to do a tasting anywhere else. We ended up going downtown Newport to get a drink and wait for our reservation. Once we finally got seated we saw our waitress after 15 minutes of waiting and ordered our entrees on her first check in. My, the birthday girl’s, food never arrived. Our waitress, Gabriel, checked in after another ten minutes and promised she had put in the food. She came back after ten more minutes to tell us she had never put the food order in. Shocker. The food took another hour to come out, maybe more, it was a sandwich with premade potatoes chips that came out of a bag and that’s it. The only thing that was comped was the food and my drink. Even though my entire party of four more people got to sit awkwardly and eat while watching me sit there with nothing in front of me on my birthday, even though I stated this multiple time while scheduling the reservation. Just an over the top disappointing experience. They refused to comp anything aside from the single entree and drink. Will absolutely never be back.

Service was friendly and fast. Food was tasty and exceeded my expectations for the variety they offered. I particularly like that they offer their own beer and wine.Pictured is their Hopkins Southdowns Lamb Kofta. I tried the house made chips that came with my wife's meal and they were excellent. Not too thick, not too thin, just right.I had a beer flight with my meal to sample their beer and will definitely come back again to try their other beers and wine. I highly recommend this establishment if you are a connoisseur of food, wine, and beer.

Be prepared to wait if you don’t have a reservation. Empty tables all reserved. Outdoor seating heaters not on. Didn’t want to eat or drink outside and be cold. Too commercial a vibe for a vineyard winery. Left and went somewhere else to eat and drink.

NV is loved by many, and that doesn’t mean I think it’s bad. However, I haven’t found a beer I liked, the food is often dry or well done, and tbh my friends who like wine feel more meh than yea when they go. The atmosphere is cute and the staff are always so nice.I have a rule for breweries and think NV is victim of it: you either have really good drinks and bad space, great space and bad drinks, or rarely get both. Great space, meh drinks.

At last night's dinner with colleagues, upon entering, I noticed an unusual fish odor. Since it was nearing closing time, the staff seemed eager to wrap up. Our waitress, Amber, was friendly and checked on us frequently. The food was nicely presented, although my steak was slightly overcooked for my taste. Fortunately, the wine flight improved the experience, offering a chance to explore new flavors. I particularly enjoyed the lemon-infused wine. The homemade ketchup was unique but acceptable, although having regular ketchup as an alternative would have been preferable. Despite this, it was a generally positive experience. Additionally, their gift shop was quite impressive.

Went late afternoon for a flight and some cheese and crackers and were pleasantly surprised. The wine was pretty good (7.8/10), and the cheese board was delicious. They offer a tremendous variety of wine and beer (and cider). Also, a great variety of cheeses to try. Only gave food a 4/5 because we only got the cheese board, but we've heard great things about the rest of the menu as well. Thoroughly enjoyed the wide open space and atmosphere! Will probably go back before we leave town.Went back on the next day and were advised we'd have to leave within 90 minutes of us sitting down (as we continued to order wine). We were gonna stay for dinner but felt we were being pushed out. The place was HALF EMPTY. Customer service could use some improvement...Parking: Plenty of parking on the side of the building.Kid-friendliness: Brought our 3 yr old. Had high chairs. Others had children as well.

We came here for my friend's 22nd birthday and I just had to come on here and say that Sherri (Or sharron) (IM SORRY I FORGOT!) but she was absolutely AMAZING. She took such good care of 12 girls and was super sweet, attentive and accommodating. ALL 12 of us work in the restaurant industry and were so impressed with her grace. Amazing amazing woman and server all around. Thank you!!
