Truly a gem. Seed oil free, clean ingredients, scratch made food which seems impossible to find. We tried many things from the Rising Tide menu and The Food Shack menu. All of it was excellent. Absolutely no complaints. The half price kid meals on Saturday is the best value in the state, if not the country. $4 for a huge bowl of clean protein, rice, beans, plantain, etc. Plenty for hungry little boys with a big appetite.

Pulled pork sandwiches were delicious. What their rising. Added some barbecue sauce that they make. It's good. And she had what this guy's garden and what do they look like? Also, the chicken tacos are great.

Delectible meats. Fagrant steaks, succculent pig, revelutionary beefnnuggets. Don't talk to me about the brisket, I'm still not over it. Bring a towel for the meat sweats and some pepto bismol for the ride home but be ready for a great meal. I got grease all over the steering wheel damn

We gave rising tides a chance. Brisket was ok. Ribs were good, and the beans were decent. As for ordering and tipping before you even get your food is awful. Our server got a nice tip, and never came by the table to ask how our food is or if we needed anything. Having the customer tip before service is not a good practice. Will not be back.

After reading all the reviews I was excited to try the bbq. The brisket was delicious, the pulled pork and ribs were just ok. The cornbread was dry and the cinnamon butter had too much cinnamon. We also got the baked beans with burnt ends. When I think of baked beans I think about them being cooked slowly for hours. The baked beans seamed they were made to order and didn’t have great flavor. The burnt ends weren’t burnt ends but, cut up brisket thrown in as an afterthought.

I’ve been dying to try the food here but was pretty bummed with the mac & cheese. I was expecting a nice cheesy sauce but instead got a grainy broken sauce. The rest of the food was pretty good but I was really looking forward to the mac.
Ordered for a large group and everything was delicious! Would definitely get this again.

We had another terrific takeout meal from Food Shack — a Kickin’ Sesame Chicken Salad, and a Grilled Chicken Rice Bowl. Both were incredibly fresh and well prepared. The chicken in each was perfectly cooked, and The portions were very generous.
The staff, as always, was friendly and helpful. We think it’s a great deal, and we will continue to return to the Food Shack! (The interior dining area is small and plain, but you don’t go there fore the ambience. The food is the best!)
