Great service from our server Olivia and superb craft beer !
This was our first time checking out the brewery part of Newport vineyards. It was a quiet day and there was lots of seating with great views through the windows the vineyards. Definitely recommend coming in the off season for quieter vibes. It’s a busy place in the warm months. They had a lot of great snack deals and a full menu when it’s the busy season. Their full pour for the Big Lebrewski was worth the trip!
Make sure to ask the bartender for recommendations.... Shout out to Destiny for helping my find Chaos, my new favorite Taproot IPA!!!
The gift and wine shop is so cute and inviting and the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about the wine. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and the food is so delicious. The vegetables are roasted in maple syrup and I ate all of them. I will come back again when I visit Newport.💙
They have some unique dishes on the menu, but tasted so so. The beer flights came up half empty which is kinda cheap.
The beer was very mediocre. There are many better options nearby.
The corn ribs and brisket sandwich were both very good.
The place is beautiful and the shareable plates are delicious. I especially liked the spinach & onion dip with the freshest kettle cooked potato chips i’ve ever had.
The beer im drinking is the Happy American DIPA. My GF got a flight of four of Taproots beers, and I bought a 4 pack of their mosaic IPA to go.
Overall; it is a beautiful location and one that I would reccomend to anyone looking for good locally crafted wine / beer
Bad service. Backed up kitchen. Poor management.
Absolutely AWESOME !! Not only a Brewery but also a Vineyard. Very relaxing and Beautiful. Could have had a few more Stouts !!
Had a great time. Beers were good. Disappointed that
the hefe wasn't in cans. The bartender was attentive and knowledgeable about the beers and wine. Will visit again when in Newport.

Beautiful atmosphere and view. I ordered the only gluten free item on the menu. It was supposed to be a “grainy ceaser” with quinoa and rye berries. Thank God I added chicken, there was no quinoa and rye berries. Just lettuce, dressing and Parmesan. When I mentioned it to the waiter, he says “I’m sorry, if it were me I would have added the quinoa”. On the after thought I should have asked for a manager. I left very hungry.
If you want overpriced / really mediocre food or rude / extremely slow service, this is the spot. Got the corned beef sandwich and the burger. The bread for the corned beef sandwich was rock hard and tasted stale. The burger (which was supposed to be done medium - they don’t do anything other than medium) was way over cooked and felt like you were chewing on some rubber. On top of that, waited 15 minutes to for the waitress to come around and 45 minuted for the food (two sandwiches) to come out. Beer was decent.
Always great beer
The food was outstanding, We enjoyed the lovely atmosphere and the wine flight was wonderful. Edit: I realized after posting I did not mention the absolutely wonderful staff they made our evening memorable ?
Always enjoy my experience at the Vineyard. In the summers I enjoy the live music, and also the pop up workout classes in the winter.
