Aunt Carrie's Restaurant, Ice Cream and Gift Shoppe

We just stopped for take-out after the ferry back from Block Island: just a short wait, outstanding milk clam chowder and clam cakes (The Combo)!! Have wanted to go since seeing them on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives. Will return when in the area to try more!

A wonderful living museum. Homage to days gone by. Beautiful old, simple New England country dining room and amazing seafood. The clam balls reignite my childhood. This is a TREAT. If you want an authentic, Rhode Island experience, visit Aunt Carrie's.

My father passed away in August and he had recently suggested to us that we should visit. After we laid him to rest, all four of his children with partners and four grandchildren headed to this restaurant in his honor. We were not blown away by the food, service, or atmosphere. It was nice to be by the beach and have plenty of space for all 11 of us to dine together. We walked across the street for ice cream after. That was tasty.

I am the driver front narragansette bay lobster. I deliver the fish. They cook it so good. Aunt carries. Best hands down

They should have an option to leave Zero stars .
That’s how bad this food was , making them easily the most overrated restaurant in New England…. Unless you’re looking for bad food . In that case the combination of dry flavorless clamless clamcakes goes well with their watery flavorless chowder .

I was visiting Judith’s peak with my family, and heard good things about Aunt Carries from years passed. Went to Iggys prior from years passed and always wanted to go to Carries, but it was closed every-time I went. My first and last experience ever here tasted and felt like a wet-mop. The food was bland, cold, undercooked, and damn right disrespectful. Quality of food was Zero. Don’t go here. danger.
