We had something to eat upstairs at the Ocean Bistro and we thought would have one more cocktail before we headed home. We sat at the bar today. We asked Ruby, her name is according to the receipt, for 2 espresso martinis. When she went to pour them, she was short on the pour. One glass was 3/4 of the way full, the other was half full. She looked at me and told me to take a couple of sips out of the glass that had more to even it out. LoL. That's a new one! I was shocked by her suggestion and told her no, she just needed to make more. I think it's just a case of being green and not having the experience. Hoping this can be reviewed and management can provide better training.

My husband and I have a family house down the rd during the summer months it’s always our go to place. The bartenders are always so personable. We have not had a bad meal there ever. The drinks are always refreshing. Prices are reasonable. Recommendations: fish and chips, clam chowder, fish sandwich, meatball grinder, potato skins and onion rings. Their nightly specials are very good and priced right! Last but not least you can’t beat the view and the ocean air. You will not be disappointed!

Was in town for a week or so and spent a few evening in this place. Coming from Texas, I never know what to expect of the NE, but everyone there was very hospitable and was more than enjoyable. The food is amazing and the drinks are stout! Cheers!

Posting for a friend...Don't be fooled by the neighborhood dive bar atmosphere. The food is VERY good! The view is gorgeous. Their New England clam chowder is second to none. Creamy and flavorful, the clams are sweet and tender. My husband and I drive over an hour one way just for the chowder. Check this place out! You won't be disappointed!
