Bon Vue was one of our “go to” bars for a couple beers and food, but disappointed recently at being charged $9 for a whalers rise draft on a Thursday afternoon, off season. For a dive bar, that’s excessive.
My husband and I have a family house down the rd during the summer months it’s always our go to place. The bartenders are always so personable. We have not had a bad meal there ever. The drinks are always refreshing. Prices are reasonable. Recommendations: fish and chips, clam chowder, fish sandwich, meatball grinder, potato skins and onion rings. Was in town for a week or so and spent a few evening in this place. Coming from Texas, I never know what to expect of the NE, but everyone there was very hospitable and was more than enjoyable. The food is amazing and the drinks are stout! Cheers!
