Wonderful food, both New England classics, such as a superb lobster bisque last night, when we also enjoyed a very tasty shrimp aljito. Not to be missed. The best food in Narrangsnsett based on over a week’s research. Most welcoming and helpful staff too.

False advertising. The website and signage on the side of the building states “rooftop dining.” We booked a reservation for 8pm for dinner on the rooftop (confirmed twice by the employee I spoke with). When we arrived we were informed the only food available on the rooftop deck was charcuterie and cocktails, not dinner. The full menu was only available on the first floor, which had absolutely no view. We considered having a drink on the roof before having dinner downstairs, but were informed the kitchen closes at 8:30 (despite the website advertising 10pm). We ended up going to George’s in Galilee and had a delicious dinner with beautiful ocean views.

Ate at Chair 5 last night with a group of 5. The dining room is coastal chic, very comfortable and a great environment for an enjoyable and fun dinner. They have a new chef and the food was great. Our table shared a Caesar salad, calamari and gochuchang chicken tenders to start. All very good. The calamari was so tender and flavorful and the Caesar also super fresh and the dressing was yummy. Dinner was Seafood Stew - “Delicious”, 2 orders of fish and chips - “so good and killed Aunt Carries for taste and quality”, Chicken Milanese - “crispy and delicious” and the Filet - “ate every bite, yum”. We had Jake as a waiter. He was personable, attentive and friendly. Overall a fantastic dinner and we plan to return before our 2 weeks in Narragansett are over.

Stopped by Chair 5 last weekend as part of the RI Food Fights Lord of the Winks competition. We sat in the downstairs lounge and the service was top notch. We ordered two orders of wings; one with jamaican jerk sauce and the second with korean gochujang sauce. Both were good but the korean wings were in my opinion much better. Will definitely stop by in the summer when the rooftop lounge is open to add the spectacular views to to experience.
