The Coast Guard House Restaurant

Everything was fantastic. Great location, great food, great service, and great cocktails. The octopus was fabulous, the Daisy Smoke Cocktail!!!!!!

Always excellent. Great food and great service and beautiful ambience. I keep coming back and the food keeps getting better and the service is always excellent.

We had a wonderful experience with the Coast guard house restaurant. Everything was delicious. Pricing is standard Filet Mignon w/ add on shrimp, scallop was delicious. We also ordered the special of the day Pork Wings, burrata salad. The clam Chowder and Octopus was just ok . Delicious oysters and fried calamari. We ate on a Tuesday 30% off the wine bottle Overall it was nice experience.

The setting is the true highlight at The Coast Guard House. We had appetizers, salad, burgers, pasta, and soup. Everything was fine but not special. We ordered dessert and found the winner of the day in the chocolate budino. It was outstanding, and almost made up for the standard fare of the rest of the meal. Kudos to the pastry chef!

The place is very nice. Food was delicious. We had a nice view by the water. Its a very popular place. A lot of people but not overcrowded and overwhelming. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area.

We invited our son and his family, they had never been before. Everyone enjoyed their meals.

The views, service and food are always outstanding. The hard interior has the noise level such that when busy you have to shout across the table to be heard. Friday night after 8 PM the noise was doawn and we were able to converse without raising our voices.

We had never tried the cod dish and it was excellent and cooked to perfection. As always, the linguine and clams were delicious. We took friends, who had never been to CG House and they were so impressed with the view, atmosphere, drinks, and food selections. We'll be returning next week to celebrate few birthdays since it's our favorite restaurant! We hope Cameron is working that shift, as he was very capable & personable.

Fantastic experience at Coast Guard House! We came in to 'carb load' before the Ocean Road 10k and got a table by the window. The food was delicious, the hostess and the wait staff were attentive and friendly, and the view couldn't be beat. We'll definitely be making this part of our annual pre-race tradition!

The Coast Guard House is a Rhode Island tradition, with great views and a waterfront location! Over the years CGH has updated its look, refreshed its wine & cocktail offerings and kept its menu fresh and inviting, without sacrificing its traditional (and much sought after) offerings! It's a delightful dining experience!!

Delicious food great view great service. We had a drink at the bar and bartender was lovely and made a great drink.

Only thing was I noted prior to arriving that it was for a birthday and I wanted an oceanfront window seat ... They never acknowledged the birthday and we did order dessert and the only window seat they had wasn't really an oceanfront seat... I've dined here many times and I was a little surprised because I usually get better service... the waitress was great .. but the hostess should have seen my notes and let the waitress know ... it's apparent that she did not...

We had a great experience at the Coast Guard House. We were seated at a table with a nice view of the churning ocean. Our waiter, Harrison, was attentive and helpful and checked often to see if we needed anything Each of us ordered something different and thoroughly enjoyed our choices. I would recommend bringing a sweater/jacket as the restaurant is on the cool side.

Our waiter was great! Very attentive and entertained my 89 year old Mom! She had a blast which is all that matters! Food was great but there were a ton of flies inside! Very annoying! Valet was full and cars were in the way of my mother navigating her walker to get in the door. I advised the hostess of this issue, it was dangerous just trying to get through the parking lot and lastly there is only 1 handicapped parking across the street which happened to be available.
