Delicious dinner by the beautiful waterfront There was some confusion on outside vs inside seating (on my part) when I reserved but Megan the hostess was super friendly and accomodating She was able to switch things around and give us a time slot to enjoy the beautiful ocean view outdoors We were only going to get drinks and apps but Jack our server was so great that he convinced us to try the specials ,4 out of 5 of us got specials. He was very informative of the history of the restaurant and guard house. Drinks were delicious and prices were reasonable and fair. For comparison, the burger price was similar to the burger price nearby at the casual boon street market (we went for lunch earlier) Would def recommend for post beach days or special celebrations.

Great food, great views, and great service! Make a reservation and enjoy. Calamari was tender. Delish bottle of Sancerre. Moist swordfish. Shareable desert. Good cappuccino!

Gian was attentive and personable. Great server. Atmosphere is a bit loud when busy for normal conversations. Food was great as expected

CGH is a must visit if you are coming to the Narragansett area. Its breathtaking views of the ocean and lively atmosphere adds to your experience! The food has staples, complete with land and sea offerings, but I highly recommend some of the specials as they take time and care to craft them. You will not be disappointed.

all in all, food was fine. service was a little slow. very busy and overly helpful server.

The food and service at The Coast Guard House was the best I've experienced in South County.

Coast Guard House has been a staple of go to restaurants in the Narragansett area for the past five years. Have dined at various times on various days of the week and the main theme regardless of time, is consistency of food preparation and presentation. Add in a caring and effective waitstaff and wonderful water views the dining experience is enhanced!

We had an excellent dining experience at the Coast Guard House. Server Jack was friendly and timely with ordering and serving our courses. He made great recommendations. Everything we had was delicious. My husband's lobster ravioli was very generous with the succulent lobster enveloped in tender pasta with a light cream sauce. My mussels were numerous, fresh, tender, and tasty. My husband had the cheesecake for dessert and your pastry chef was spot on with a caramel drizzle and sprinkling of graham crackers. It was a memorable dining experience. Highly recommend the Coast Guard House.

I'm so happy that the CGH salad is back. It was delicious! James is extremely knowledgeable. The food was very good. Nothing beats the view. Please bring back the ceviche.

It is a gorgeous view! Lovely setting. We were in the main dining room on a Saturday afternoon. The food was ok. Nothing special. Portions were good! Go for the view!

Upon entering host attentive , efficient. Ambience of seeing water from most tables -plus . Good wine selection some reasonable $55 . Not much less . Mediterranean salad , lobster & swordfish dinner good . Server excellent beyond ! Overall menu selection & prices much better than NJ !!!!

Right on the water, beautiful views and great food. Service was good, wish they would have acknowledged my daughter's 19th birthday (told them several times).

Can't beat the ambience at the Coast Guard House. I had the special, a Fisherman's platter and all of it was delicious except for the cod which was stringy. The shrimp, clams and scallops were perfectly cooked, however. My partner had pasta Bolognese . The highlight was the pistachio cake which was recommended by our server. It was outstanding.
