Loved the food BUT we placed an online order and were told it would be ready by 1:15. We arrived at 1:15. Nothing ready. We finally got our food 30 minutes after the promised time-an hour and 15 minutes after placing the online order. Not worth it. Back to Aunt Carrie’s.

This was our first time having "Rhode Island style" clam chowder. You probably know that New England style is cream based, while Manhattan style is tomato based. Turns out, Rhode Island is "clear." So just stock/broth. My husband and I both really enjoyed this version. Probably more so than the cream or tomato based! The only reason this got 4 Stars is because of the clam cakes. I imagined they would be like a crab cake but with clam instead of crab meat. But that's not the case at all. They were like a salty biscuit rolled in a ball and deep fried. I didn't mind it so much, though they are quite heavy in the gut. But my husband thought there should've been way more clam.

Being a transplant to Rhode Island; just about everyone says to go to "Iggy's." Unfortunately, each time I attempted to during this past summer, the line was literally out the door. My chance to experience Iggy's finally happened recently, and I was not disappointed. My meal was prepared promptly and brought out hot. Special regards to Jen, my server, who was pleasant and helpful. I now know why this particular spot is so very popular, and I will be returning for more of their absolutely delicious seafood. Try it just once, and I'm sure that you will most likely return. Thoroughly enjoyable!!

Parking: It was technically the "off-season," so parking was not a problem at all.

Wheelchair accessibility: There is a wheelchair ramp that is easily accessible.

Great NE clam chowder! Creamy, loaded with clams & potatoes, delicious. Clam cakes were yummy too, light, fresh, & not greasy at all. We ordered takeout online tonight & it was quick & easy to navigate, order was ready on time. The only minor issue was there were some details they missed: we asked for extra crackers & tartar sauce, but they weren't in the bag. We were also missing cole slaw with the clam dinner. Not a huge deal, would just advise double checking your order if you're taking it to go.
Will definitely be back to try more items!

Take out Sunday night was very disappointing . Order arrived and the fried clams were missing so we needed to wait while they were cooked. We had 2 baked fish dinners, clam cakes & doughboys , chowder getting cold while we waited.
Then the clams were awful;
tough and dried up. We have always been satisfied with the fried clams in the past.
The baked fish, clam cakes, ff all needed to be reheated when we arrived home.
Not a great experience.

Lobster roll was average. Scallop roll was definitely below average. Very small tough pieces of scallops.

Can see how this is a family favourite for locals. Personally was not a huge fan of the food, but that may say more about my tastes than the food itself as everyone else seemed to enjoy.

My clam chowder was nice and thick at first. As I was eating it, it turned to water. Very weird. So disappointed. I never had this happen before. Everyone with me had the same thing happen to theirs also.

I was very excited to try this iconic clam shack. I ordered the fisherman’s platter. I never would’ve thought I was steps away from the ocean from the selection of the items in the platter. The fish was deeply battered, and very greasy laid upon all of the fries so they absorbed all of that grease. The two clam cakes did not have one single clam. The whole belly clams were the smallest I’ve ever had. The scallops were teeny tiny bay scallops. With the platter you can have a salad or chowder. I selected, clear chowder, which was basically all potato, the few clams were crumbs; chopped so tiny. Very disappointed in this $30 platter. Also asked for cocktail sauce rather than tarter. Unfortunately this request was not made.
