This was one of our favorite ice cream shops when we lived in the area 2 years ago & we always try to visit when we are near.
We visited last night and boy it has changed and not for the better. We got 2 large sundaes and a kids cone, I belive it was over $22. I normally don't care about the cost when it's something so good. The size has gone down to almost nothing! We asked for hot fudge and oreos on our sundaes and got neither :( To top it off the girl was so unhappy to be there. To spend so much and receive so little and not what I am used to at this establishment was disappointing.

Maybe because it was opening season - but this has to be the worst ice cream. It was supposed to be hard cream, it was more like hard/ soft ice cream or melty ice cream. In addition, they charge 4% for credit card usage. And finally the clumps of ice inside their ice cream was terrible. Their location is a prime spot - too bad.

Love The Sweet Spot! I have been bringing my grandson here since he was a toddler, now 5. He can’t wait for the Spring for them to open! He loves the giant brownies and chocolate chip cookies for breakfast 🤫 and I enjoy the breakfast sandwiches. We love sitting, eating and watching the Ferry Boats. Looking forward to a great summer 2025!

Right on the water! Mud Pie was the best ice cream I have ever had. The staff that took care of me and my grandmother were super friendly.

Grasshopper ice cream is the go to. I’m pretty sure they mixed there’s with some coffee ice cream as well. Really good!

The best homemade ice cream! Every flavor is superb! Our favorite is the Black Raspberry Chocolate Chip! Service is excellent! The staff is friendly and helpful!!!

We discovered THE SWEET SPOT 4 years ago for breakfast and for the one week a year we are in RI it’s our go to! Last year we discovered the delicious scones Kelly bakes every day! This year something special happened when I said we loved the raspberry ones we had last year Kelly said I’ll make you some what day would you like them? Well she made them for us twice this week as well as coconut which my grandson asked her for! This place is a hidden gem! We also go for ice cream! This is an outstanding business and team that is worth a visit you won’t be disappointed. Thank you Kelly and team for the delicious food and making us feel special this past week. Until next year 💝🏖️

Great little spot for a quick bite before hitting the beach or catching the BI ferry.
We have made this a regular stop for a few years now.
