My son had 4 live lobsters, clams, lobster bisque and clam chowder delivered to me in Florida. Wowza!! Until retiring I lived my entire life in New England. I have eaten my share of seafood over those years, and I have to say The Lobster Guy made my day!! Everything was absolutely delicious! The lobsters were so fresh they obviously had been plucked from the ocean and sent directly to me. They were very frisky! I can't say enough good things about The Lobster Guy. Great products, great packing and shipping, very prompt.

I ordered ten lobsters (2 - 2 1/2lbs). They were delivered by UPS right on time and they were perfectly packaged so each lobster was very much alive. This was my first order from The Lobster Guy and it did not disappoint. Great place, great job!

We just ordered a dozen 1-1/2 pound lobsters to serve at my husband's 82nd birthday party! We received the lobsters exactly when they promised, we live in Florida, and they arrived beautiful and fresh and very much alive! This was our first order but we will definitely be spreading the word.

What a fantastic experience!! I ordered the Romantic Dinner for Two for a birthday celebration, along with 2 quarts of steamers, and our feast was a knockout! There was so much food, we wound up preparing the courses in shifts, taking breaks in-between—it was hours of fun! I was concerned about the lobsters surviving the journey, but let me save you the worry. These folks really know what they are doing. The package arrived on-time, alive and kicking, and the lobsters were de-LISH! I highly recommend this business.

Ordered 3 pound lobsters in November and January. Asked for females if possible and got them both times. Most people eat the claws and tails only and throw out the body. 3 pounds makes it easy to get out all the sweet meat in the body. I'll keep ordering from The Lobster Guy. Excellent customer service and Fed Ex overnight delivery.

I ordered three pound lobsters in November and February. Both times I requested females if possible and both times they delivered. Both times the lobsters had roe, Most people eat just the claws and tails and toss the body. The 3 pounders make it easy to get all the sweet meat out of the body. Both times the lobsters were sent by Fed Ex overnight and were alive and kicking when delivered.

My wife scheduled a delivery for my birthday dinner. Unfortunately bad weather came and the company called and we rescheduled for the following week. No problem as we just rearrange the dinner. TLG website says they ship Priority Overnight which is FedEx and arrives by 1:30PM. Unfortunately, TLG changed to UPS and shipped next day air which arrives by the end of the day! They could have shipped UPS to arrive the same as FexEx but they didn’t! This is false advertising! My delivery is to arrive at 8:30 tonight per UPS! Ridiculous! Their staff Connor) is rude and argumentative! We are long time customers. Additionally, we recommend TLG to numerous friends and relatives! I WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN!

WOW is all I can say. I ordered live lobsters for my Dad's birthday and had them shipped to rural New Mexico. I was worried they would not arrive in time for all of them to still be alive since we typically get the last UPS deliveries (after 7pm). Not only were they alive and kickin', they were BEAUTIFUL and bigger than expected. To top it off, they included a birthday card for my Dad. When quality counts, this is your go to place.

Best service on the planet!! Had an order placed for Christmas Eve that never arrived due to the horrible blizzard and weather conditions. Called , got Captain Tim's heart felt message telling everyone not to worry very sorry for the issues and apologized profusely . He said he would gladly refund or reschedule our deliveries. Our first delivery did arrive four days later. This was a UPS issue, Not a Lobster Guy problem. They did exactly what he said they would do and received our delicious Maine Lobsters and Steamer Clams about a week later. Well Done!! And Thank You!!! Roger

I have ordered lobster twice from the Lobster Guy and am so pleased with the quality of the lobster and the service I received on both occasions. I live in NY and we have a summer home on the coast of Maine; so I consider myself a lobster aficionado on lobster. The lobster is outstanding. The customer selects the date for the delivery and it arrives in a timely fashion in a cooler with an ice pack. I highly recommend this company over any other lobster company!!

We ordered our Christmas Eve dinner from the Lobster Guy. Everything was fantastic. The New England clam chowder, lobster bisque, stuffed shrimp and scallops were all delicious! We will definitely order again! Delivery went smoothly even with winter weather conditions.

We have ordered lobster meat for the past 3 years. When we reached out to customer service with questions, Connor was always very responsive and helpful. We had a shipping delay with our last order, due to weather, which is obviously out of anyone's control. The Lobster Guy went above and beyond to rectify the situation. The quality of the lobster meat and customer service has consistently exceeded our expectations and we are already looking forward to ordering again next year!

I ordered a few 3 pound lobsters from the Lobster Guy for Xmas dinner, and due to severe weather in the NE part of the USA (and other places) the Lobsters did not make it as ordered on delivery date of Xmas Eve. I called the Lobster Guy number and got a very long message on how sorry they were and how UPS let them down by not delivering their orders on time. To be clear, this issue was not UPS's problem as parts of the USA got feet of snow. To bash UPS was not cool from my customer perspective and the message made no mention of the horrible weather - as if nothing was going on in the USA the few days leading up to Xmas. People in Buffalo were freezing in cars due to the snow. Come on Lobster Guy. Bottom line the lobsters ordered arrived on Tuesday 27 December, when they were scheduled for 24 December arrival. FYI, the lobsters were alive and kicking when they arrived and were delicious. No complaints on the seafood, but leaving messages and whining about UPS as if they are to blame is not professional. Man up and at least explain to customers about the weather. I live in Virginia and had no bad weather at all, except for it being very cold. No snow at all.

Its December 23rd at 645 pm. We have had our 500.00 Christmas dinner ordered to be delivered to TN for atleast 2 weeks. I even left a message asking that they call me if this is a problem as it is our family xmas dinner. NO Call until 645 on the 23rd! The lady told me that they couldnt send it as my area doesnt have Saturday delivery! I even have sunday fedex and Saturday postal and UPS! When I questioned her she gave a rude, lame reason saying they couldnt get this order to us until next Wednesday and that my credit wouldnt be issued for 7 days! Sounds like they sold thier inventory to locals and they already have spent our money! I have had many businesses and NEVER would have done something like this to a customer. LOBSTER GUY STOP ADVERTISING OUT OF STATE!!! Your company ruined Christmas for a family who have suffered So much this year! Our message to the public is boycot this horrible company! Go to Cape Cod in Massachusetts! Companies there actually appreciate people! Stop letting this group get away with this!

Update: After posting my reviews I received an email from the aforementioned Chrissy that they will refund the price and shipment costs for two of the lobsters - So I am going to change my rating from 1 star to four. Prior to this incident I had very good experiences with this company (as evidenced by my sales history) - but I had also never had any issues with my orders. So with this being my first experience with them on a problem it makes me very sad that I had to send several emails and post bad reviews to get what should have been provided with the first email or at the least when I spoke with manager Chrissy on the phone yesterday. She didn't just refuse to give the refund but she was also very nasty in her tone and demeanor. And though she sent the email, she didn't apologize for her behavior. So that says to me that the owner was the one who did the right thing. I hope he uses this as a teaching moment to retrain his staff, and consider who he has representing his business. With that being said I am appreciative that in the end they did the right thing and went above that by not only refunding the dead lobster, but also refunding an additional lobster and shipping costs for my trouble. So thank you to Captain Tim Handrigan. I appreciate your time and attention to this matter. I am so disgusted. We have been ordering lobsters from this company for over two years. Here is my order history: 2020 - May $207.42; June $208.30, July $198.12, December $214.80. 2021 - January $156.25, March $182.09, May $267.47, August $268.53, September $166.41, November $238.94 2022 May $265.97, November $207.90. That is nearly $2600 in sales for this company over the last two years - each with the "insurance" purchased. Then on the most recent order which arrived yesterday morning one of our lobsters arrived dead. I sent an email with pictures just as they said you should on their website to receive a refund for the dead lobster. No response. So then I called and the manager Chrissy refused to provide the $26.00 refund for the dead lobster. I then emailed the owners and have gotten no response. The lobsters were for my Mom's 84th birthday and I felt really bad that everyone couldn't enjoy the lobster they were expecting to get. What kind of company doesn't honor its own process for getting a refund? What kind of company doesn't appreciate customer loyalty? What kind of company would throw away another $2600 in future sales to not give a refund for a lobster that is 1% of that amount? Apparently thelobsterguy.com would. I will NEVER purchase from this company again and I encourage all of you to not patronize their business. As others have said there is NO customer service with this company. They treated me terribly and they should be ashamed.
