Our 250.00 delivery was not delivered on valentine's day as promised. I was told I have drive 2 hours to pick it up the following day. No one will answer the phone for lobster guy and no help available. Avoid at all costs.

We really enjoy getting lobster and an assortment of seafood from here. My partner and I live in CO, so his mom sends us seafood from “The Lobster Guy” each year for our birthdays, and it’s always been a treat. They do forget items every now and then (2/5 orders have had something missing that I know of). This year they forgot the lobsters, which was a major bummer, but they did re-ship them on a date of our choosing.

The customer service is exceptional, and the seafood has been consistently good. However, for something as expensive and time sensitive as seafood, it’s important to ensure all items are in the box before shipment. Forgetting two whole lobsters is a major oversight. This is why I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5.

We ordered 2 lobsters between 10 to 12 oz for our anniversary.
We just followed the recipe and they were perfect.
Drawn butter is a must.
It made for a great night

We ended up with bad lobsters this July. We left messages with the Lobster Guy with no response, but now I know a bit more about crustaceans, I think I know what happened: The flesh was watery and small and the shells soft. These lobsters were molting! They should never have been kept or sold.

Now living in Florida it's almost impossible to find Maine Lobster. It was our 28th wedding anniversary and I decided on a whim to get some Lobster Tails.
Any question I had was immediately responded to by Connor. Ordered on Wednesday and they promptly arrived Saturday morning. Flash frozen, packed well and tasted excellent. I highly recommend The Lobster Guy and will be ordering again in the future. Thanks for making my anniversary extra special!!!

We had a little snafu with me misspelling my email address, I caught my mistake and called them to correct it. They corrected my email address and our yummy lobsters arrived on time. We enjoyed our anniversary dinner. We will be ordering from you again in the future.
The handwritten note was such a sweet touch, you just don’t get that level of service and care anymore, would give 10 stars if I could.

I'd provide 5 Stars except the website was confusing. I had a hard time understanding what was actually on "Special" for Father's Day. I had to call and get someone to clarify it, but the young lady who answered was indeed, very helpful. I was disappointed to learn they don't provide Sunday deliveries. But once I figured it all out (with help), all went smoothly. Four 1.5 lb. lobsters arrived about 10 am the Saturday before Father's Day. They were definitely alive, and even lively. I placed them in the refrigerator as outlined in the instructions. On Sunday when "cooking time" arrived, they were still very much alive. I followed the cooking instructions to a "T" and they were excellent! I would definitely order from here again (when I'm ready to splurge again someday).
