As a bride I hope none of you experience what I did….
1. Extremely hard to get ahold of, will provide her personal number and still won’t respond, irresponsive over email, text and phone!!!! Even days before wedding event.
2. No matter how many times I sent a floor plan it was not respected and it was not set up in the way we agreed upon via contract.
3. Extremely unprofessional when dealing with my other vendors, explicitly told my bartender that he could not use the empty freezer….for ice…..and the solution was to put it into a garbage can, she claimed it was a violation… of food safety… it appeared as if she just simply did not want to share… she also had the conversation in the middle of the dining room….is that proper wedding etiquette? No.
4. She charged my card in EXCESS with the incorrect amount and would not respond via email or via text. Even when she provided her personal phone number.
5. Left halfway through my event and I had to give her card to one of her staff, she didn’t let anyone know she was leaving…
6. For a “fine dining caterer” I would have expected the servers to be wearing formal attire and to have more refined skills than presented…
7. It took three emails, one phone call and a text message for her to even respond regarding how to pay via invoice.
8. My photographer… had to be the one to ask the servers to leave some passed hors d’oeuvres on our table….then KC came over and said that she had them left for us….she had zero intention of leaving food for us.
9.We were told all leftovers would be packaged and sent home with us…never saw any type of leftover, was never offered the rest, nothing was packaged.
10. Stay far far away from this fraudulent business….

Really disappointed with KC and West Bay Gourmet. I’m getting married and reached out to KC through email. We scheduled a phone conversation to go over exactly what I was looking for, the venue details and how many people were invited. She said everything sounded great and she’d send over some menu options to look over and choose from. After she hung up I never heard from her again. I tried emailing to see if she was still available to cater but again I never received a response. Extremely unprofessional and disappointing.

KC and team did an amazing job for my Mom’s 75th birthday. Everyone kept commenting on the food and she just made things so easy. I can’t wait to work with her again. She makes you want to throw parties because she takes away all of the stress!

In a world where ingredients are becoming more and more expensive, West Bay Gourmet has managed to keep their prices reasonable while maintaining high quality taste and service. WBG provided catering services for my son's 1st birthday party and I am still getting compliments from my guests because of it! All of the platters and hot entrees were displayed beautifully...I'd show you, but the food was gone so fast, I didn't get a chance to take a picture! Both kids and adults alike enjoyed the wide variety of options we were able to provide thanks to West Bay Gourmet. The process of booking with WBG was so easy and convenient. I can't wait to order from them again!

First of all let me start by saying that i have been a caterers worst nightmare. We had to change the date and menu for my daughters wedding a few times due to Covid and the last change was a one day notice due to the impending remnant of hurricane Laura. K.C. and Lori were so kind,accomodating and professional. The food was absolutely delicious and my daughters wedding was just perfect!

KC and the other staff at WBG did a great job with the food at my wedding. Everyone said how delicious everything was, and they really worked with us to make everything how we wanted it. The did all of the decorating for my wedding and it turned out beautifully without me really needing to worry about any of it. The only negative comments I'd have is they broke a LOT of my decorations during the packing up process including jars I had made and planned on re-using and special champagne glasses we bought for ourselves. We had everything wrapped very carefully when we dropped them off so I was a little disappointed in the condition everything was returned to me, so if you plan on having them decorate try to give them packing materials and ask them to actually use them. KC herself was EXTREMELY helpful, attentive and responsive, her staff however; was pretty rude and I heard a few complaints from my guests about how they treated them. Overall, the food was great, KC is great, but the other staff seems to be a little careless.

West Bay handled the catering for our wedding at The Towers and proved to be an excellent choice! KC and her staff are incredibly professional and reliable. They also frequently work with The Towers and their staff and are resident experts at the venue. We received a lot of compliments on the quality of the food, and without us having a wedding planner they were able to coordinate with the venue and other venues to make the entire evening smooth.
