Love Aldo's! So happy to see they opened at 5:30am (perfect to grab coffee and food before heading to watch a sunrise).
The pastry cases are magnificent, the coffee is delicious, and I also grabbed a meat burrito that made me belly very happy!
Everyone who waited on us both days were very pleasant (despite it being so early in the am).
Can't wait to go back to Aldo's next time we're on Block Island!

While like anyone who has visited Aldo's, their treats are something that you will come back for every time you visit the island. However, what you may not know is how caring Aldo and his family and friends are to their guests. My wife got extremely sea sick on a cruise from Newport. We took refuge at Aldo's where it was cool on a very hot day. She was having a hard time recovering from the trip and Aldo provided a chair and table out of the main traffic for her to recover. After 2 hours there, he called in family and friends, specifically Russell and his wife. They took time out of their day & went out of their way to provide relief for my wife. I cannot express how much better this world would be with more people like Aldo and friends. Next time on the island, treat yourself to Aldo's treats and compassion. Steve and Susan

We were on Block Island for just a couple of days, yet we stopped at Aldo’s at least four times! Their ice cream, gelato, coffee, and pastries were delicious. The staff was so welcoming and friendly! Five stars for sure!

The pastries I bought looked better than they tasted. I was very excited and purchased more than I could possibly eat, but after a few bites of each I was uninterested in continuing. The ice cream they had here was delicious though and I would get it again
