“We went to The Spring House for our 25th wedding anniversary. This was the best vacation we have ever had. The hotel is amazing. We had a corner room facing the ocean and the view was perfect. We loved sitting on the lawn in the white Adirondack chairs. The view was spectacular, the live piano music was wonderful and it was great that you could order drinks and food from your chair. The food and staff was also great. We had the same waitress for two of our dinners and she was amazing her name is Kacey. She made our dining experience very enjoyable. We highly recommended The Spring House and we plan on going again.”

“Co-worker and I were out on the island for an install. Once complete, our client brought us to Ellen’s for lunch. I I ordered the “trash burger” as listed on the menu. The burger was delicious and cooked perfectly to medium rare. The side of fries was a generous portion and every single fry was crispy. My co-worker had a burger as well and was very pleased. Client had the fried chicken plate and it looked amazing. Restaurant is exceptionally clean, type two gals working had excellent customer service skills and very attentive and social. Cooks were efficient and friendly as you are able to see them in the kitchen if you are sitting at the counter. Would recommend Ellen’s to anyone and will stop in on my next trip out.”

“We had a great time at the September Block Island Pride Drag Party that was hosted here! There was enough space to dance on the dance floor. It was convenient to have both indoor and outdoor bars. Finally, there were self-serve water stations at both bars, which was a superb idea.”

“We wanted a dessert treat but wanted something home made, so we’re very happy we found Blocksile. Home made popsicles made from fresh fruit and juice and they had a variety of flavors and toppings to choose from. The owner of the shop was very nice, the shop itself was cute and clean, and in a convenient location close to the ferry. They also cover all the extras providing you with a pop tray for under your popsicle so your pop doesn’t drip, and wet naps to wipe your hands after. I appreciate how they thoroughly thought out everything a customer might want/need. We’ll be visiting Blocksicle everytime we visit the Island!”

“I can not express the gratitude I have for this resort! My wife and I got married 9/5/25 and it was the most perfect day. Ryan went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and the day went smoothly. I stil have guest raving about the food about the food months later! I couldn’t have imagine getting married anyone else.”

“Traders is the best bar on Block Island. The banana mudslide is crazy good. Eli was our bartender and he did a great job keeping our drinks filled and making us laugh with great conversation. This is the only place to be. It's connected to Champlins marina.”

“This is a very convenient spot to grab a coffee and pasty before you hop on the ferry to leave Block Island. The whole milk latte and chocolate croissant I had were pretty good. I’d strongly recommend budgeting at least 15-20 minutes to obtain your food and drink here.”

“Easily the best meal our family enjoyed on Block Island. The food is always fresh, delicious, and the service is always top notch. Good food for the kids and everything is super affordable with big portions. Highly recommend the sushi rolls with a big plate of tiger tots for the table.”
